According to ESPN,The Pittsburgh Steelers and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have agreed to a new eight-year, $102 million contract, according to sources.
This is a great deal for a couple reasons.
1. He is 26
2. He has made the play-offs 3 out of his 4 years playing.(The one year he missed was his accident year)
3. Super-bowl Champion
4. Locking him up for 8 years means the Steelers don't need to wrry about that position for a while.
5. Ben is a winner dating back to his college days.
6. Ben is the man.
7. Signed an 8 year deal so that means 7 Superbowls (I have to be realistic.)
