NBA Breakdown: New Jersey Nets

Offseason moves
Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons for Richard Jefferson
Brook Lopez, Ryan Anderson and Chris Douglas-Roberts draft
Kenyon Dooling

Even though the state they play in blows donkey balls, they did all the right things this off season. The Nets not only got younger, but emptied a lot of salary cap for LeBron James in 2010. I like PG Devin Harris a lot and believe he can grow as the starting point guard for the Nets. No one stil nows what Yi can do, but he can at least be a Raef Lafrentzesk guy at best. There draft rocked, Brook Lopez might have been the best big man in the draft and Ryan Anderson can stretch defenses and CDR might have been the steal of the draft. I don't believe this team will be able to win now, but is set up for a bright future, much like the Portland Trailblazers. I think they will go 30-52 and miss the playoffs.
