According to Buster Olney, the meeting between Sabathia and the Yankees went "great". I would assume that they talked about why CC didn't jump on the Yankees huge offer, but if this report is true then there's a good chance the Yankees will sign him before Christmas. The good news is if the Yankees do get CC, they are most likely out of the hunt for Mark Teixeira.
