Weekly Rant

The Answer from yesterday:

Well I waited all day to see if DC would put a post game wrap up on the Celtics game from last night. Why would they? What is there to say other than we play like shit in the fourth quarter. This game has valleys and peaks. I'm glad we're playing like shit now instead of June. Last week I wrote an article about the up coming game with the Cav that will be on ESPN Friday night. I proceeded to say that every game from then until Friday doesn't mean shit, win or lose. We just happen to lose every game. Don/t hit the panic button just yet. How will the C's play tomorrow night on national television and against their conference equal? I really can't give a prediction. All I can say is win, and then we can just accept the green boys are in a slump and we just have to ride it out. If we lose, it's time to freak out. This game means something. A lot. I think it's the perfect chance to get back on track, but it's also a chance to head down a bad path. If we lose I really don't know what should happen. It's hard to make a major move on a championship squad, but maybe, just maybe we need a spark. Kick in the ass. I really think the game rest in Paul Pierce's hands on Friday. I think he needs to play the game of his life. I think if he plays the game of his life, the fans, and the rest of the team will see how important this game is and follow in his footsteps. We also need Leon Powe to have a career game as well. Why you ask? The bench is struggling...fuck it, they down right suck right now. They are all good players but there is a serious missing link to that 2nd unit. Some one has to step up and I think Leon is the only one capable. Our defense is not the problem. We held the Rockets to under 90 points, we should be able to win. There is no reason, with three hall of famers on the starting line up, that we shouldn't score more than 100 point...ever. Well, if you have a Celtic's shirt, jersey, ring, whatever, wear it Friday. The C's need a positive energy. This is a serious serious must win.
