"The Detroit Lions have restructured the contract of Daunte Culpepper. Culpepper, who came out of retirement midway through last year's 0-16 season, was due to receive a $2.5 million roster bonus later this month, but team president Tom Lewand said that the deal had been restructured. Culpepper is still on the last year of a two-year contract (ESPN)."
WHY???? Culpepper sucks. He is all done. His knee has never been the same since he injured it a couple years back. I just don't get it, they have the #1 overall pick in the draft, and a pick later in the first round. You can grab a QB with either of those picks, trade one of them for a QB, or why don't you start a guy who was drafted in the 2nd round (Drew Stanton)? Fucking Lions piss me off. Fuck Culpepper.
