Looks Like The Hunter Became The Hunted

A man who tried to get some pastrami on the cheap from a bagel shop last Friday night, police say, ended up cooling his heels before taking a trip to the county cooler.

It all began when employee Wilfrid Joseph spotted Scott E. Jennings coming out of Flakowitz Bagel Inn's outdoor freezer. In his hands were three big pieces of pastrami, according to police.

When Jennings saw Joseph, he ran back into the freezer. Joseph then simply shut the door and held him inside until a manager called police.

Jennings, 45, no address given, was arrested on charges of burglarizing the shop at 1999 N. Federal Highway.

When confronted by police, he claimed he went into the freezer to get a bottle of water, according to the report. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, where he is still being held.

I'm not that big a pastrami fan, but I would do this if it was bacon. Man I love Bacon.
