"Celtics president Danny Ainge said that guard Tony Allen is slated to have left thumb surgery Wednesday and he is hopeful he will be ready to return for the playoffs. The injury-plagued Allen suffered the injury Feb. 8 against San Antonio; he had already missed 15 games this season to ankle and thumb injuries (Boston.com)."
Good, I am glad I don't have to watch him play anymore. He is just one of those guys that is never going to workout for the Celtics. It will be very interesting to see when he comes back, and when he does how much playing time he will get. I guess most of that with hinge on if anyone can step up, and give the Celtics more then Tony Allen was giving them, which wasn't much.
