This season has been somewhat of a disappointment (mostly because of injuries), but here is something to cheer you up....
"If any Boston Bruins fans get down on themselves, they should just look to see how the Toronto Maple Leafs are doing in the standings. The Bruins own the Leafs' next two first-round picks, and right now, the Leafs are one of three teams stuck in the cellar, along with the Edmonton Oilers and Carolina Hurricanes.
Carolina will likely get the top pick and have their choice of one of the three top prospects, D Cam Fowlers, F Taylor Hall or F Tyler Seguin. NHL Central Scouting has said this is the closest battle for the No. 1 spot that they've seen since 2006.
But that means, if the Leafs stay in the cellar, the Bruins could land a player worthy of the top pick. Not bad for a team that is currently fourth in the Eastern Conference (ESPN)."
With the Bruins seemingly having their goalie of the future in Tuukka Rask and tons of young talent, the Bruins seem seems as if they will be competitive in the Eastern Conference for years to come...
