Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Barnett is out for the season after suffering a wrist injury similar to the one that ended Brian Urlacher's season last year, according to two NFL sources. ESPN
The injury bug has really struck the Packers this year who already lost Ryan Grant and Morgan Burnett for the year. Clay Matthews is the defensive leader of this team but Nick Collins was right up there. He is an old pro at 29 and constantly totals over 100 tackles a year. This is a major loss and the Packers upper management has to be a little happy they didn't pull the trigger on AJ Hawk so fast as he will be needed.
