The Patriots have informed that the reason they traded Randy Moss was not because of anything he did in the locker room, or anything he said, but in anticipation of how he was going to react to his diminishing role in the offense.
This I find even more interesting because 1. It shuts up the Captain because that's what came from the Patriots, 2. How could you anticipate anything that he would do and give away your most athletic and talented player for a 3rd round pick?
The deal stinks, and the offense and the Patriots will suffer, and yes to me they gave up on this season. Welker and the tight ends will have a hell of a lot more difficult getting open without Moss.
They just gave the division to the Jets.
