Celtics vs Jazz Preview

The Celtics head out to Salt lake City this evening to take on the Utah jazz. I will be honest, you shouldnt sleep on the jazz and neither should the C's. these guys like to play at home standing strong at 22-6. they are always the pesky type of team that came sort of fly in under the radar and come out with a win. but dont think the Celtics mind living in hotels, as they aim for their 10th straight away win dating back before the allstar break.

i expect the Celtics to win the game obviously, especially since the best player on utah aren't exactly on top of their game right now. Boozer isnt even playing and Kirilenko is fresh off a return as well this being his second game back. I am going to go with the safe prediction and say Paul is going to take over this game. I see him coming into the land of the Mormon and walking away with a double double...i see 32 pts, 10 assists and 6 rebounds.

The celtics need to start the second half of the season strong as they push towards their efforts to seal home court advantage throughout the playoffs in a few months. And as we all learned last year, they need such things. its important from here on out to consistently beat the teams we should, and a few that people think we shouldn't. its statement time, and its time to reclaim the dominance that has been called into question as of late.

prediction: Celtics 99 Jazz 82
TA: Paul

110 Refs, 92 Celtics

Utah didn't win this game the refs did. The Big Three did not have a good game and the fact they were playing the Jazz and the refs didn't help the cause.

Ray Allen started strong but got injured, Pierce and Garnett started really slow, Perk and Rondo couldn't carry them the whole game. The Refs were terrible the whole game, they called every offensive call on the C's and every defensive foul against the C's. I was pulling my hair out this whole game, in fact, watching the refs call this game made me want to throw up. I will not give the Jazz credit for this game, because in my eyes they were bailed out all the time. Every time the Celtic's made a run the refs fucked it up. Deron William was impressive with 30 points and 7 assists, however, I'm Pissed.

Celtics vs Jazz

Tonight the Boston Celtics take on the Utah Jazz at home. The Celtics have had a pretty fluff schedule the past few games. The Jazz enter the game tonight with Deron Williams, Ronnie Brewer, Andrei Kiralinko, Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur at center. The two players you have to watch out for are Williams and Boozer. Williams has turned out to be a terrific point guard and an absolute play maker. I still think the Celtics will win this game by about 7 or 8, but it will be more of a grind it out type of game. Look for Perk to have a big game tonight.

Tommy Award winner Kendrick Perkins.
