92 Celtics, 77 Pacers

Is it me or are teams not trying against the Celtics or are the Celtics that good. One a night that the Celtics win their 60th game and tie the record for best turn around in NBA history, the Celtics proved one thing to me, their bench is as good as the Pacers team. Sure, KG, Ray Ray, and Paul all had double figures, but their bench led by "Hard Work" Leon Powe who had 14 points and 9 boards, basically dominated the Pacers all night. Another thing I noticed was how bad the Pacers actually are, they are in complete disarray. This was a team a couple years ago that was mentioned in the top of the east, now they are a pathetic team with or without Jermaine O'Niel.

Celtics vs Pacers

Tonight, the Celtics take on the Pacers and try to seek their 60th win of the season which will be the 12th time in franchise history. The Celtics beat the Bulls last night and look to have the momentum carry over against the Pacers. The Pacers starting line-up consists of Flip Murray, Danny Granger, Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, and Jeff Foster with Marquis Daniels first to come off the bench. This team has been hampered by injuries all year with Tinsley, and O'Neil and very disappointing. I see Rajon having a good game tonight going against Murray, and obviously our bigs are far better than theirs. This game should be easily won by the Celtics and have them clinch the home court advantage.

Celtics 104 Pacers 97

Well I wasn't completely right when I said the Celtics would dominate tonight's game. However, they did win. Paul Pierce had an bad ass night with 28 points, 12 boards, and 5 assists. Ray Allen had 23 Points, while Rajon had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. The one stat that grabbed my attention was the Celtics had 8 turnovers which means they are taking care of the ball much better (for the time being). People need to stop shitting on Tony Allen. He is a good player, and I trust his 4th quarter defense more than anyone on the team. Leon Powe had 16 points and 9 rebounds which is amazing considering the absence of KG. (Here is another reason you should root for Hard Work).

The Tommy Award went to Paul Pierce, so I am 0-1, but the only stat that matters tonight is 40-9.

Celtic vs Pacers Preview

Tonight the Celtics look to take on the Pacers. The Starting line-ups look to be Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Scal, Powe with Posey, T. Allen, and Davis the first coming off the bench. The Pacers are sending Diener, Granger, Dunleavy, Murphy, Foster with Kareem Rush off the bench. When you look at both of these line-ups some important people missing with Garnett and Perk out for the Cs and Jamal Tinsley and Jermaine O'Neal for the Pacers. I will definitely take that. The Celtics at 39-9 are far more athletic and just flat out better than the 20-30 Pacers. I am not saying this because I have a huge man crush on this man, but I expect Rajon to destroy Travis Diener and Dog him all game. So I guess the trend will start here: Rajon will win the Tommy Award tonight. I expect the Celtics to beat the Pacers by 10 easily.

P.S. I hate Mike Dunleavy
