Celtics Vs Suns

This afternoon is a great lazy afternoon. So lazy that when the Celtics play the Suns this afternoon the best players for both teams wont even be suited. KG and Amare are both out with injuries so it will be up to the side kicks this afternoon.

The Celtics need a win. Plain and simple. We pooped the bed against the Jazz and now its time to bounce back with some authority....and we will make the Suns respect our authority.

The Suns are in the midst of an identity crisis. They are supposed to be so much better than they are its sad really. on the other hand, the Celtics technically should be better than they currently are as well, in terms of them losing games they should have won. So its a two way street to be sure.

Obviously when you play the Suns there are some guarantees. Nash is good for 10+ assists, Shaq will shoot 90% from the floor and Jason Richardson will have either have a highlight dunk or key 3s. Those three threats should be the major focus of the Celtics. I look at the match ups in the back court to make the difference in this game. Can rajon not only run the offense but get his as well? Can Ray shake loose to get the open shots and continue his hot season from the the floor? the answer to these questions and more as we get set to enjoy a nice lazy Sunday afternoon the with Celtics.

Prediction: Celtics 94 - Suns 83
TA: Ray

117 Celtics, 97 Suns

The Suns got the shit kicked out of them, just like I predicted and the Tommy Award went to Rajon, just like I predicted. Amare Stoudemire had 32 points, but the Celtics were able to withstand the attack and dominate. For the Celtics, all the starters KG had 30 points, Paul had 27, Ray had 14, Perk had 13, and Rajon had 14, which is amazing. Also, the M-V-P chants were awesome tonight, and after this game he proved it. The critics now again should be quite.

The Suns couldn't have beaten us if we shot on our knees:

Box Score

Celtics vs Suns

Tonight the Celtics take on the Suns and try to do some things. 1. End this 2 game losing streak, 2. Improve their 28-5 record against the west, and 3. Avenge their loss against the Suns earlier this season. Here are the starting line-ups:

Rajon Rondo vs. Steve Nash
Ray Allen vs. Raja Bell
Paul Pierce vs. Grant Hill
Kevin Garnett vs. Amare Stoudemire
Kendrick Perkins vs. Shaquille O'Neal

If I were the Celtics this would be my plan, run, run, and run more. Reasoning, Shaq can't get down the court like he used to, and the Suns have a thin bench and we might be able to tire them out.

My Tommy Award winner is Rajon Rondo, due to his defense on Steve Nash and his fast pace will be the reason the C's win this game.

Celtics vs Suns

Tonight the Celtics take on the Suns of Phoenix. The Celtics are 0-2 on this west coast road trip, including a heart breaking buzzer beater at Golden State. Kedrick Perkins will have his work cut out for him while defending recently acquired Shaq. Look for Big Baby and Leon Powe to have a big impact on the barn burner in Phoenix. Manifest destiny people.

The Tommy Award winner tonight will be Big Baby for his good defense and extra effort while defending the Big Diesel.
