I know they are two different characters, but as I watched Batman yesterday I came to the realization that I like Jack Nicholson's Joker character better than Heath Ledgers. You decide.

Is The Joker The Best Villain Of All Time?

I just got back from seeing The Dark Knight (I know I am way behind), and the movie was good, but what really blew me away was Heath Ledger as the Joker. I know, I know, everyone is already making a big deal out of it, but I thought most of that was because he was dead. I was wrong. He was awesome, and just the perfect person to play that darker version of the Joker that the Batman movies are trying to potray. He (the Joker) is a man with no consciece or reason for what he does, other than to prove that the world can't be tamed, and when people try to control civilization things only get worse.
Anyways it got me thinking about the best villians of all time, so here is my top 10 list.
1. Darth Vader - James Earl Jones - Star Wars
2. Hannibal Lecter - Anthony Hopkins - Silence of the Lambs
3. John 'Jack' Daniel Torrance - Jack Nicholson - The Shining
4. The Joker - Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight
5. Keyzer Soze - Kevin Spacey - The Usual Suspects
6. Max Cady - Cape Fear - Robert De Niro
7. Tyler Durden - Fight Club - Brad Pitt
8. Hans Gruber - Alan Rickman - Die Hard
9. Norman Bates - Anthony Perkins - Psycho
10. Annie Wilkes - Kathy Bates - Misery

Too Soon.....

I am not one to judge people on too soon jokes. I will say this as whole heartedly as possible, but seriously who hasn't laughed at a 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, AIDs, Hitler, trench coat mafia, Steve Irwin, Princess Die, V-tech, Christopher Reeves, Cory Lidle, Sean Taylor, Easy-E, Dante's Peak, etc... joke. But this is how it relates to me.
The last time I was at the doctors, I got prescribed a lot of meds for my sinus infection/ Mono. Then I went to my doctor that prescribes me ADHD medicine along with some other stuff. She said she didn't want to give me all of those meds until I was finished with my other ones. Then she jokingly made a comment saying she, "Didn't want to prescribe me a Heath Ledger cocktail."
Is it too soon?
I mean I laughed.
