Naked Grand Theft Auto

A naked woman took a Louisiana cab driver on a joyride this week, police said. The cab driver picked up 29-year-old Jennifer Gille from a Covington, Louisiana, motel Sunday night and was instructed to take her to a local address. But when the driver arrived at the address, the woman "refused to get out of the cab," police said in a statement.

"To further complicate matters, the female began acting crazy and took off her clothing, demanding the cab driver take her to Michigan," the statement said.

Instead of making the 1,000-mile trek to Michigan, the cab driver went to a local police station for help. When the driver went inside to get help, the woman stole the taxi, police said.

"It didn't take long to locate the vehicle; it was parked in a parking lot a block from the police department. Officers found the woman in the back seat of the cab still undressed," police said.

Police later arrested Gille, who faces charges of obscenity and vehicle theft, said Capt. Jack West (CNN).

At least she seems to be decent looking. Although this is a crazy story, and pretty funny, but I just can't get by the stupidity of this cab driver. Yes, driving to the police station was a good idea, but if you have a crazy person in the back seat, it's probably a good idea to take the keys out of the ignition. Then again, he probably got the rest of the day off.

Not A Shocker Here: Louisiana is America's Laziest State

A new ranking by Businessweek.com based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Louisiana claims the top spot as the country's laziest state. To be clear, by "lazy" we do not mean lacking work ethic or engagement. Rather, it is a measure of leisure time spent doing sedentary activities compared with activities that require more physical effort, such as exercising and even working. Mississippi and Arkansas came in second and third, and while states in the south and southeast are represented heavily in the list, such East Coast states as Delaware and New York placed in the top 20.

That's why I miss it so much. Everything is slower down there and is more fattening. I mean I did work two jobs while being there, but I don't count because I'm from the north. But if not for the Saints winning the Superbowl there probably wouldn't be one positive thing to say about the state other than their food and friendliness. The place gets hit by oil spills, hurricanes, tons of crime and ridiculous heat, so can you really blame them for not wanting to do much? I can't wait to tell my grandkids one day of a magical place called New Orleans.
