Here is a hot rumor that Golden State would be willing to trade Monta Ellis to the Celtics for Ray Allen.

The reason why Golden State would do this is because they think Ellis isn't letting rookie Stephen Curry progress at the rate he should be. The Warriors would have to throw in someone else to match Allens salary as well.

I love Ray. I do. However, if this has any truth to it, I would jump immediately. Ellis is a prolific scorer, extremely quick and an above average defender. Basically he can do everything better on the court than Ray Allen other than shoot 3s on the court. I mean imagine Rajon and Monta in the back court, no one would be able to keep up with them. Yes, you could argue that this could create some chemistry issues, but who cares when you have Kevin Garnett and Doc to calm everyone down.
