Celtics Trade Cassell

The Sacramento Kings agreed in principle to a deal with the Boston Celtics on Monday night, a league source told ESPN.com. The Celtics will send Sam Cassell and cash to the Kings for a future second-round pick.

Fine by me. Good ridden to bad rubbish. Cassell has done shit this year except for being on the bench. Danny Ainge has been a second round mastermind, so at least we got that and some cash from the Kings. I would have just cut Cassell, but at least we got something for him. What this means for the Celtics is that they now have one open roster spot to sign someone (P.J. Brown, I'm looking in your direction or Stephon Marbury). Either way this move is basically so they can make another move. It wouldn't surprise me to see Cassell on the Celtics bench by the end of the year, because there is no way in hell he will ever be in a Kings uniform.

Celtics Might Be Losing Another Player

Today (as DP reported) Miles was cut by the Celtics. Now I am beginning to get nervous that they may be losing Sam Cassell soon. Read this story:

Coach Cassell

Sam Cassell said yesterday that he plans to become an assistant coach with the Boston Celtics after playing one more season.

"This is my last year playing with the Celtics," he said. "Next week, I'll sign the contract."

After finishing the 2008-09 season, he plans to exercise an option to join the coaching staff. -- The Baltimore Sun

Wait, wait, wait, wait. Who said you could play with us one more season? Sam, I'm sorry but you kinda suck. Every time you came in, something terrible happened. I don't care whether you coach or not, but I don't want you to touch the court again in basketball shoes.

Celtics Got Cassell

Sam Cassell and the Clippers finally came to an agreement in a buyout. This means Cassell is Boston bound. I am 100% confident that Sam will be on the C's by next Monday. However, if he wants to be accepted by the Celtics, he must first apologize to Rajon for trying to murder him earlier this season. With P.J. Brown and Sam Cassell on the team, I think the Celtics did a better job than anyone did during the trading deadline.

With the Celtics losing three in a row, I have became extremely depressed. I try to make reason out of any positive thing I can about the Celtics. Since the trading deadline has passed and Sam Cassell didn't get dealt, it looks more and more like he will be bought out. I have not forgave him for being a complete duesche bag the last time we played the Clippers. It will take a lot for me to get over him trying to kill Rajon. However, it is apparent with this losing streak we need something. Maybe, Sam can be the solution.

I don't know, but I am back to hating Sam Cassell. As the Celtics were dominating the Clippers 111 to 100 Sam Cassell who everyone has had a boner for recently did one of the biggest unnecessary cheap shots on my Best Friend Rajon Rondo. It was completely unneeded and I hope he wroughts away in Clipperland and watches the Celtics win their 17th championship this year. Stupid Alien looking bastard. DP
