You know what really grinds my gears... Timothy fucking Tebow getting the credit for this win.
The Florida defense had a stellar game. Holding OU to 14 points is nothing short of amazing. That's 40 fucking points below Oklahoma's average (which was 54 points per game). UFA's defense was superb and there's no denying that.
Oklahoma has failed in BCS bowls lately, and it's time to ask why. OU failed on 4th and goal at the 1 (credit UFA's defense), threw that multiply tipped INT at the goal line, had a field goal blocked, and Juaquin fucking Iglesias had a ball in BOTH his fucking hands, then hands it, literally hands it, to Ahmad Black, and in a way, hands Florida control of the game. You get two hands on the ball, you're supposed to fucking catch it.
But I'll tell ye what really got exposed tonight, and that was Sam Bradford. He was a product of terrific offensive lineman this season, nothing more. And without 10 seconds to throw the ball, he disintegrated like an ant farm in a rain storm. For my money, Michael Crabtree deserved the Heisman, or even Texas' Colt McCoy. But Bradford demonstrated how mediocre he is when under moderate pressure.
But the Florida Gators deserved this one. They played the better game, far and away. And it wasn't Timothy fucking Tebow. Tim Tebow sucks. He was actually one of the worst Gators on the field tonight.
Percy Harvin was Florida's best individual player. And Florida's best unit was their defense. Tim Tebow will be overhyped and overplayed Derek Jeter style for the next week, but fuck him, he sucks, and in the NFL he'll be eaten alive. This win belonged to the Florida defense. And as much as it hurts me, congratulations UFA, you earned it.
