Seymour 's Last Year With Patriots?

"Richard Seymour has been a key cog in the New England Patriots' dynastic machine of the past several years, but his contract is up after this season. While the 29 year-old wants to remain with the Pats beyond this season, he indicated yesterday to the Boston Herald that it might not happen. When asked about whether he wants to stick with the only team whose uniform he's worn in the NFL, Seymour responded, "Oh, absolutely, but it has to be mutual, and it takes two to tango. We'll let that situation play itself out, but like I said, all I can do is control what I can control (ESPN)."

I haven't been overly impressed with Seymour's play over the past couple of seasons. He obviously is one of the better DE in the game, but sometimes I feel like he disappears for long periods of time. My gut is telling me that this will be his last year with the Patriots, but I think this is also going to be a monster year for him. The NFL might now have a salary cap after this year, and Seymour is a guy who could earn huge money if he puts together a really strong year...
