The Latest On Seymour

"Four days after his trade from the East Coast to the West, defensive lineman Richard Seymour was still a no-show, and the situation is getting prickly. The Oakland Raiders have drafted and signed a five-day letter addressed to Seymour, which means the former New England Patriots defensive lineman has five days upon receipt to report to the Raiders or be suspended, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter Thursday night (Sportsline)."

This is becoming a very interesting situation. If Seymour doesn't show up in the next 5 days then he will be suspended and will lose over 3 million that he is owed this season. He also will not be able to become a free agent in the offseason. I don't think any of this affects the Patriots, but it just looks like another horrible situation for the Raiders to be in.
