The 49er's got rid of Mike Nolan (best known for wearing a suit) and replaced him with Mike Singletary. Nolan led the Niners to a 18-37 record and was extremely inconsistent offensively. Nolan's legacy is based on how shitty Alex Smith turned out. He drafted him, he was a bust, then he benched him for JT O'Sullivan.
I guess Mike Singletary has the respect of the players in the ocker room and has always been in coaching conversations, so now is his big break...... good luck.
