Movie News That Should Piss You Off

Seems like the people in Hollywood have really given up coming up with new ideas, and the news coming out today really does nothing to change that outlook.

Yes Will Smith will be back for two sequels. Of all the movie news I will be sharing in this post this one pisses me off the least. Why? Because I'll end up seeing it. I know, I'm not happy about it either, but who can resist? All I can say is Jeff Goldblum better be in it, and Vivica A. Fox better be a stripper again.

Hey Everyone! Remember that terrible Godzilla movie a couple years ago? Well don't worry we'll just make another one!

That's right, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. have confirmed rumors that they're teaming up on a Godzilla reboot/revamp/re-whatever slated for release in 2012. Really? Do we need another one. I mean really can we please come out with something different. At least Cloverfield tried...fucking assholes. What could save is movie? Another Puff Daddy song (come on admit you loved that song too).


Hey, think those E-Trade babies are cute? Well, now they will get their own movie!!!!

I really, really wish I was joking about that, but it's true. Fox is planning to make a "mission movie" about the E*Trade babies that involves not giving you stock tips, but making their way across the playground. Honestly, if you see this movie do yourself and the wold a favor and kill yourself.

I am not surprised they are redoing this move, since Hollywood just seems to have run out of ideas and redo everything. The thing that surprised me is who is in it. Jackie Chan will be playing Mr. Miyagi, and who will be playing Ralph Macchio? Well of course Will Smith's kid Jaden Smith. Excuse me I just threw up....

Ok, we know that Jackie Chan + Black People = Funny, but do we really need to go down this road again? All I have to say is I guarantee is will be the worst movie in 2010.

NFL Steroid Suspensions

The NFL suspended 6 players; "running back Deuce McAllister and defensive linemen Charles Grant and Will Smith of New Orleans; defensive linemen Kevin and Pat Williams of Minnesota; and long snapper Bryan Pittman of Houston (ESPN)."

All I can say is it is about damn time! This has been dragged out so long, and there is really no reason for it. The NFL goes after Wilfork, and Ward before the beginning of practice the following week, yet it takes this long to suspend players for using steroids? Seems crazy to me. Anyways, this is really going to kill the Vikings, who are only 1 game up on the Bears for 1st place in the NFC North. Obviously, this hurts the Saints too, but I think it is going to be really tough for the Saints to make the playoffs, yet if they are going to it will all be on Drew Brees' shoulders anyways.

God Dammit New Orleans Saints

"A number of NFL players -- including Deuce McAllister and Will Smith of the New Orleans Saints -- have tested positive under the NFL's steroid policy as a result of taking water pills to lose weight, according to a report from Fox 31-Denver reporter Josina Anderson. "ESPN

Two of the most important people on the New Orleans Saints are most likely going to be suspended due to some banned substance. Duece McCallister was going to take over for Reggie Bush and Will Smith anchors down the impressive defensive line.
The water pills apparently:
"Bumetanide is a drug belonging to a group of medicines called loop diuretics or "water pills." Its uses include the treatment of fluid retention and swelling caused by medical conditions such as congestive heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease, Fox 31-Denver reported."
I can see how this team can be so frustrating to New Orleans Saints fans.
