Cav's Win the Lottery Now What?

The order of the NBA Draft is..
1. Cleveland (from L.A. Clippers)
2. Minnesota
3. Utah (from New Jersey)
4. Cleveland
5. Toronto
6. Washington
7. Sacramento
8. Detroit
9. Charlotte
10. Milwaukee
11. Golden State
12. Utah
13. Phoenix
14. Houston

But this probably means that the Cavs are going to pick Kyrie Irving from Duke. He's the best player in this draft and will give the Cavs a great start at PG, and with the 4th pick they will have an outside chance to get Derrick Williams from Arizona or Enes Kanter from Kentucky/ Turkey. Williams is a talent we saw in the tournament that can definitely help any team out from the SF position and Kanter took the year off because he was ineligible at Kentucky but he's a big tough PF who can rebound and play smart in the paint. Either way Kyrie matched up with any of those guys would be a good start.

Clippers Trade Baron Davis To Cleveland

"The Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed in principle to a trade that would send Baron Davis and the Clippers' 2011 first-round draft pick to Cleveland in exchange for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon, league sources confirmed to ESPN.com (ESPN)."

I love Baron Davis, but he come into this year completely out of shape, and has been heckled by the owner of the Clippers. So, it was time to go. This move saves the Clippers a ton of money and although I don't like Mo Williams he was pretty good when Lebron was there, so maybe he can regain his stride with Griffin.

Baron Davis is still due $28 million over the next two season, so getting him out was a must for LA. Moon's contract is up after this year, so that'll be off the books. Plus, Williams contract is for a little over $9 million this year with a player option for $8 million next year. If the Clippers could somehow get him to not want that, this would be a great deal, but most likely he will pick up his option.

For Cleveland, ummm this isn't going to end well. Baron Davis got fat for the Clippers now he is going to the worst team in the NBA. Something tells me he isn't going to put 100% effort in (great beard though). But the big thing here is they might get the #1 pick in the NBA draft. This isn't an awesome draft, but the Cavs need a "face of the franchise" guy, and this is really the only way they are going to get one.

Hawks/ Wizards Make A Trade, Cavs/ Clippers Make Deal

Kirk Hinrich and Hilton Armstrong have been traded to the Hawks for PG Mike Bibby, rookie Jordan Crawford, swingman Maurice Evans and a 2011 first-round pick, according to ESPN.com news services.

This is how I'm going to breakdown this trade.

Hawks get:
Kirk Hinrich is a douche bag, he's an overly excitable white boy, that once pissed Rajon off during his Bulls days. Kirk is a gay name. Complete scumbag.

Hilton Armstrong was guy I liked coming out of UConn, even though I hate UConn. Has a name of a Hotel and pretty much has been completely useless as a big man all together.

Wizards get
Mike Bibby: one of the most overrated players in NBA history, still lives off his couple good years he had with the Kings, added nothing to the table for the Hawks. Once called Boston Celtics fans bandwagoners. Complete scumbag.

Jordan Crawford: went to an A 10 school in Xavier and accepted my friend request on facebook. Good dude.

Maurice Evans: Has been on 6 teams in 10 years of playing. Never really ever had an opinion of him because he's invisible.

First Round Pick: Good pick up.

Winner: Wizards, because I don't believe this is Hinrich's last stop and all these players suck. At east the Wizards get a 1st round pick in a weak draft class.

Cavs Get Barron Davis

Clippers get Mo Williams, Jamario Moon

That SUCKS for Baron Davis who went from at least having Blake Griffen to nothing and the shittiest city in America. I think the Cavs got the better end of the deal because they got the best beard involved in the trade, but I would be really worried about Baron Davis' weight issues. If he didn't care about staying in shape in LA what makes you think he will in Cleveland.

Cavs Lose 26 In A Row

Wow, I can't believe the Cavs suck this bad since the departure of Delonte West and Shaq. I mean they are epically bad, losing 26 in a row ties the Tampa Bay Buccaneers record of all time losses in a row. Detroit was a good opportunity, but they have some chances coming up with the Clippers and Wizards next. I still think both of those two teams are better then them, but still they could have a chance.

But after this year, and if all goes to plan and they get the number one pick that probably means Jared Sullinger will be their answer. I like him but I doubt he will be able to push them over the edge. The Cavs basically need to hit on their next 3 drafts in order to be over .500, which would be good enough for an 8th seed.

112 Celtics, 95 Cavaliers

Perk returned! We all expected him to get back on February 4th, but he convinced Doc and trainer Ed Lacert and he was a go.

All in all it was a great night for the Celtics, we won by 17, Perk returned, Rondo had another double double and KG, Pierce, and Ray all played 25 minutes or under. Which is great figuring they have a tough road trip ahead of them with Portland, Phoenix and the Lakers all waiting for them.

Perk had 7 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists and looked pretty good out there. He's not really an offensive player so 7 in his return is pretty good. Also, BMack pointed it out to me that Perk's shoulders didn't look as wide. Maybe I'm just having a hard time remembering what he looked like before the injury, but his shoulders didn't seem as broad. His interior defense was certainly missed, and it was really good to see him back.

Pierce scored a team high 24 points, while Ray had 18 and 3 for 3 from beyond the arc. This game was pretty much over before it began and the Cavs are just an embarrassment.

Celtics vs Cavs Preview

The Cavs are historically bad, so that means the Celtics should struggle against them. We've seen the Celtics play down to their competition in the recent past with the Wizards and the Pistons. I hope that doesn't happen tonight, but it could. The Cavs are just awful and embarrassment to what they were last year.

Depth Chart

Cleveland (PPG)
Boston (PPG)
PG R. Sessions 10.9R. Rondo 10.5
SG D. Gibson 13.8R. Allen 17.3
SF C. Eyenga 6.8P. Pierce 19.0
PF A. Jamison 17.3K. Garnett 15.2
C J. Hickson 11.1S. O'Neal 9.9

Looking at the Cavs roster makes me sick. It's awful and gross. The key to this game is getting Paul Pierce and Ray Allen hot early, because if that happens all the other pieces should fall in place. Defenders will start helping too much and will lead to easy baskets for KG, Semih and whoever they have as big men. I expect a big game from Ray Allen as Boobie Gibson should be on him a lot and he's plain awful. Even without Shaq the C's will kill em.

104-82 Celtics
Tommy Award: Ray Allen

I'm Really Pissed At The Cavs

If I were Dan Gilbert and Byron Scott I would seriously be contemplating trading the whole team and playing with D Leaguers for the rest of the season. The fans were great, they came early, brought signs, and did what they could. However, the players who they were there to support slapped them in the face by joking with LeFag during time outs and free throw attempts.

It was remarkable to me. They were still blowing Queen Blames when he decided to turn his back on the city, on the organization, and ultimately told his teammates through "The Decision" that he was too good for them, and they weren't good enough. It was pathetic.

Speaking of pathetic the effort put on the court was the worst basketball I have ever seen in my life. There was no life, no set offense, no anything. The Heat could do as they pleased at will. The Heat were getting offensive boards, were getting the hustle plays and driving through the lane effortlessly. It was disgusting, and instead of them putting LeDouche on the ground to send a message, they sat there and watched as he scored a million points in the third quarter.

Yes, the fans did their job, but the players didn't rally, play hard, play physical and it was disgusting. All in all I was pretty disappointed in the night (because of the game) and ultimately LeElbow is still alive so it was a failure.

Cavs Going After Heat For Tampering

Lebron heads to Cleveland today, and if that wasn't enough there are reports coming out that the Cavs are going after the Heat for tampering. Kind of poor timing with Lebron back tonight, and things being so tense. Almost everyone will be watching tonight just to see if Lebron get murdered, and I'm not even joking about that.

"Yahoo! Sports reported on Wednesday that Gilbert has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to a Midwestern law firm to investigate suspicions that the Heat broke NBA tampering rules while pursuing James, who left the Cavs after seven seasons to join fellow stars Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in Miami.

League sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard that members of the Cavs' front office tried to convince Gilbert not to pursue tampering charges, but Gilbert is so incensed by James' decision that he believes it's worth it even if a draft pick is the only reward (ESPN)."

I really dislike Lebron, but I do think it might be best for the Cavs to just let this go. Then again, if they can find something they might be able to at least land a pick for it from the Heat. Plus, isn't it just funny to keep watching people rip Lebron? I sure enjoy it.

What Should Cleveland Do When LeBron Returns

There will obviously be a lot of hub bub surrounding Queen Blames return to Cleveland after they bent him over in the summer.

Here are the thing I wish happens to him:
1. Delonte West Banged Your Mom chants
2. Nancy Kerrigan like "accident"
3. Beer thrown at him
4. Team Bus gets set on fire.
5. Pearl Harbor like attack to Quicken Loans Arena
6. He has a career ending groin injury
7. Death
8. No one goes to the game and he plays in an empty stadium
9. On court fight when Mo Williams clotheslines him
10. He poops himself

106 Celtics, 87 Cavs

I have to pat myself on the back and tell you how awesome I am for a minute. I have been absolutely on fire with my pregame scores. Everyone who reads this site should bet based on my predictions. I predicted 99-84 and although it's not perfect I have been within a couple of points most games and of course my Rondo prediction was right.

Now to the game:
For some reason I get mad when Rondo scores more then getting assists. I'm rooting for him to break John Stockton's 14 assists per game record and only getting 12 last night is unsettling. He dropped 23 points, and absolutely owned the paint, but step your game up Rondo, get at least 14 a game. Now he has to get 16 tonight to even things out.

Like I was saying the Celtics owned the paint. They scored 60 points in the paint compared to the Cavs 26. And the bench mob had one of its better games with Quisy scoring 16 and Glen David having 17 and 11 rebounds.

The importance of Marquis Daniels is unmeasured this season. With Delonte out for a while and Von Wafer (although has a cool name) being useless, Quisy has been a more then pleasant surprise this season. He can really play the 1-3 and plays good defense and is a very efficient offensive player. He is turning into the player we thought we were going to get last year.

The Celtics are playing the surprisingly awful Portland Trailblazers tonight.

Celtics vs Cavs Preview

Hopefully the C's won't overlook the Cavs tonight like they did on the second game of the season.

The Cavaliers may not have the best looking roster but they are 7-9, so they have to have at least some talent.

As you can see the bulk of scoring comes from the PG and PF position. I'm going to assume Rondo will make Mo Williams have a very long night, but JJ Hickson does worry me to an extent. Hickson is very athletic and can probably outquick KG, that could cause problems with fouls on not only KG, but the collapsing Shaq, Semih and Baby.

That is really my only major concern other then that the Celtics SHOULD win this game.
