Why Not?

Why not see the downside of having Ghostbusters around?

That's one of the finniest videos I have ever seen.

Ghostbusters 3 Back On?

Last time we heard anything on this movie it sounded like it was dead when Bill Murray slammed the writers, but now it seems like it could actually still happen...

Vanity Fair spoke with Dan Aykroyd who addressed Bill Murray's rather negative comments on the proposed sequel and revealed a bit of juicy news.

"He was talking about the writers from Year One, and I think he was reacting to the box-office success and the general public view of the film, which in my view was a very serviceable comedy, and in the end I think they’ll make their money back. I think he was concerned that the writing on Ghostbusters 3 by these guys would not be up to standard, but I can tell you firsthand, I'm working on the script now and those two — Stupnitsky and Eisenberg, [writer-producers of The Office] — wrote Bill the comic role of a lifetime, and the new Ghostbusters and the old are all well represented in it...we have a strong first draft that Harold [Ramis] and I will take back, and I’m very excited about working on it (shocktillyoudrop.com)."

Year One was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, so I am a little worried, but I still find it hard not to be excited. Hopefully it all works out.

BIll Murray is a GOD.

Why Not?

Why not combine Ghostbusters and AC/DC's Thunderstrike to make Thunder Busters?

Random Movie News

Here is a look at some news going around the Hollywood movie scene...

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - No really, I'm not kidding they are making this a movie. DP owns the book, and I laughed when I saw the title. I laughed even harder when I heard they were making a move out of it, and I basically pissed myself when I read that Natalie Portman is rumored to be staring in it.

Spider Man 4 - Do they really need to make another one? Well they are, and the rumor is John Malkovich is going to play the Vulture, and Anne Hathaway will play "Black Cat".

Ghostbusters 3 - Sounds like this movie is going to happen, but there have been rumors for years. Well now Sigourney Weaver dropped the bomb about what role Bill Murray might play in Ghostbusters 3, saying to the UK’s Channel 4 News, "I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it - he’s a ghost (Movies.com)."

Bill Murray: The Key To Everything LOST

I got a funny email from a friend of ours and I couldn't help, but put it up...

Subject: Billy Murray "Lost" in Translation

"Ok, so I wanted to go further in depth with what we were talking about earlier. So what do we know? The next season of LOST premiers on ground hog day. Perhaps Murray's best movie of all time was named ground hog day. Also the theme of that movie was one mans struggle with time travel and being stuck in a "loop" much like all last season of LOST. Next Murray's last popular movie was titled "Lost in Translation" in which a man travel via plane to Japan (an island) and finds love. This is basically just like the story of Jack and Kate. Now what can we learn from all this? Obviously next season of LOST all of the characters will be replaced by the entire cast of the original Ghostbusters. Boone with be played by Rick Morannis and the secretary lady will be Shannon, Jack will be Peter Venkman, Locke will be Egon, Charlie will be Ray Stantz, Kate will be Dana Barrett, Peck will be Ben, Michael will be Winston, Smoke Monster could be Zuul, ect. There are literally thousands of similarities I could list but I have to get back to work.

Ghostbusters Video Game Review

Sure, I am a huge geek.....but I have made a big deal out of this game, and thus I would not feel right if I didn't write a review.

So, anyways I finally bought this game last weekend. There was so much hype around it. Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd wrote the script, and the whole original cast lent their voices for the game. Basically this is what the 3rd movie was going to be if the production companies didn't fuck it up. Well if you are a Ghostbusters fan you have to pick up this game it is sick. You really do feel like you are a Ghostbuster. The only complaint I have is that it is not multiplayer unless you are playing online, but other then that it is sick. The graphics are amazing. The part where you are getting chased by the stay puft marshmallow man through Time Square is unreal. Well anyways....it is sick.

Is This Funny?

Seems like we have had some moral dilemmas on the site today. So, I guess I have to ask...funny or not funny?
