Joey Porter Loses Job?

"On Saturday, the Miami Dolphins announced that Joey Porter would not be playing in Sunday's game due to a coach's decision. As of yesterday, we know that Fins coach Tony Sparano has his own code of omerta and that his locker room is like Las Vegas, according to the Palm Beach Post. "To me, what goes in our family, in that locker room, stays in that locker room," Sparano said following Sunday's win.

Multiple online pundits have claimed that perhaps Porter's mouth -- courtesy of alter-ego Peezy -- was now overshadowing his performance. There's also been speculation that following practice on Friday, instead of returning home to rest, Porter went out on the town, which was the direct cause of his demotion. The big issue here is Porter's role -- or lack thereof -- going forward. Charlie Anderson, the replacement starter, had six tackles and a sack while backup Cameron Wake also had a sack. On "Monday Night Countdown", senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen noted that he'd be surprised to see Porter crack the lineup again (ESPN)."

HAHAHAHAHAHA, oh man I love this. There are not many other players in the league that I hate more then Porter. He is a pain in the ass, and I am so sick of hearing his quotes every week about how he has a problem with one team or another. Hopefully, he will never start again, but I still bet that won't get him to keep his big mouth shut.

Matt Jones Fires Back At Porter

Matt Jones has had about enough of Joey Porter "I don't even know why he's even thinking about me," Jones said. "I mean, maybe he likes other men and sits up and thinks about stuff, so I don't know. ... Is Joey Porter the commissioner? Then why would I even worry about it?(ESPN)"

Good, I am so sick of hearing from Joey Porter. He does the same thing Schilling does, which is shoot his mouth off about everything. I actually thought this was a hilarious come back. "Maybe he likes other men and sits up thinking about stuff"...classic. The only sad thing is now you know Porter is going to have say something else. Go to hell Joey Porter...

PS: I do think Jones should be suspended, but it's none of Porter's business.

Joey Porter Giving Everyone The Business

Actually, I again am on Joey's side with this. I have been wondering why Matt Jones is still playing and not only getting suspended for getting arrest but for substance abuse. Matt Jones was a perennial bust for the Jaguars until this year, but in my eyes (and Joey's) he should not have had the opportunity. If you are going to suspend Pacman for drinking, LJ fort spitting on a girl, Brandon Marshall for doing god knows what, you have to suspend Matt Jones for actually getting caught with cocaine. I don't think it is, but I could see how this could be misconstrued as a black/white thing.

"He's one of those soft receivers, where he has to have the ball all the time. If he don't get it, he's going to mope and cry. He did it to himself," Porter suggested.

Brandon Marshall
"Yeah, Joey Porter's one of them guys, when you got guys who talk a lot of trash, just want to talk about people or put people down, they have their own insecurities," Marshall said. "And his insecurities I don't know. But he's definitely one of those guys who all those muscles are popcorn muscles. He's soft."

I will have to agree with Porter on this one even though I will admit the former Steeler talks a little bit too much. However, he is a really good LB and is proven. Marshall is a shithead who hasn't done anything this year since week 2. Nothing pisses me off more than WR's getting all pissy on the field and Marshall definitely fits the mold.

Popcorn muscles is a cool term though.

Maybe Joey Porter Can Also Predict The End Of Lost

"I just know he's not a Tom Brady," (of Matt Cassel) Porter said. "So if it's not Tom Brady, it shouldn't be that hard."

Porter also said "It'll be good to go out there and get our first victory."
