The Lance Armstrong Saga

I have been holding off writing about this story, because I just have no interest in cycling. At this point aren't they all dirty? Yet, this finally got my attention, because this story is so much bigger then Lance Armstrong.

Above the obvious "he was a signature of hope for cancer", which is an obvious storyline, and rightfully so. The one that grabbed my attention is how far this conspiracy went. The US Postal service is now said to be involved, laundering money helping Armstrong make positive test disappear, and even supplying him with the drugs. WEEI went on and on about it this morning after the 60 minutes thing last night, but having a federal institution like the US Postal Service involved is a big deal.

It's a shame, but we really all should've seen this coming. Like I said before almost everyone that has won anything in that sport is dirty. So, why did we think he was clean? Because it was a good story, but much like when we all bought into the McGwire/Sosa HR chase it was all a farce, the difference this time is that there is even more corruption here.

Lance Armstrong Is A Fraud

You can take off the bracelets now. The once incredible story of a man overcoming cancer, and still dominating the Tour De France is coming to an end, as former teammate Floyd Landis named Lance Armstrong as one of the users. To be honest, I don't really care all that much, but hopefully now everyone will stop wearing those stupid bracelets.

Listen, you don't need Lance Armstrong as symbol that anyone can beat cancer. I bet you know at least 2-3 people that have done it, and went back to work. If you want a "star" then look no further then your own backyard (Lester). So, fuck Lance Armstrong...there I said it.

The only reason this story bothers me is because the French are going to love it, and no one likes the French.

Oh it also cracks me up that the headline most used for this story is "Landis admits doping and fingers Armstrong". Hahahahaha, gay joke.

Fuck Lance Armstrong

I'd like to thank Lance Armstrong for ruining my television..... again. Now that Lance has decided to come out of retirement I get to hear about how courageous he is, how he is defying all odds, how people call it the Tour De Lance, and how bicycling isn't a pansy sport. I hope he gets caught doing steroids and makes an idiot out of everyone. Go away Lance Armstrong, go away.
