From Hiccup To Murder

Not sure how many of you will remember this, but like a year ago we did a story about a girl who couldn't stop hiccuping for weeks on end. Well eventually she stopped, but now I bet everyone wishes she only in the news for those hiccups...

"Jennifer Mee, 19, of St. Petersburg, Fla., became well-known as the "hiccup girl" a few years ago -- baffling doctors who tried numerous treatments to stop the hiccups that sometimes occurred 50 times per minute and caused her to miss school.

On Saturday, authorities arrested Mee and two others in the shooting death of 22-year-old Shannon Griffin, according to the station. Police say Mee lured the victim to an area of St. Petersburg, where two men, Laron Raiford, 20, and Lamont Newton, 22, tried to rob him.

After Griffin struggled with the suspects, he was shot multiple times, investigators say (Foxnews)."

Pretty crazy this seemingly harmless story from a year ago took this turn, but I will say if I was hiccuping more then a couple of hours I would start killing people.

Nancy Kerrigan's Life Really Sucks

News has come out that Nancy Kerrigan's brother beat their father to death. This is obviously still under investigation, but he has already been picked up, and reports are out that he is an unemployed plumber and an Army veteran with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder who regularly receives counseling, which has all the makings of someone who is just going to snap.

Anyways, after getting clubbed at the Olympics and now her father has been beaten to death by her own brother, you have to ask why all these terrible things keep happening to her, and with that I have nothing else to say on this topic.

Steve McNair Died

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Shot twice in the head and two more times in the chest, former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was the victim of a homicide, police declared Sunday. But authorities wouldn't say it was a murder-suicide -- even with his 20-year-old girlfriend dead at his feet from a single bullet.

McNair, 36, had been dating Saleh Kazemi for several months, and Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said Sunday that a semiautomatic pistol was found under her body. She was shot in the head. He was discovered in a seated position on a sofa in the living room.

This is extremely sad news because Steve McNair was one of my favorite players ever growing up. He was a true warrior on the field. Honestly, can you remember a time when the guy wasn't injured? He was a hell of an athlete, a workhorse and at one point was a top 5 qb in the league. Our hearts go out to the McNair family and his kids.

Air McNair has been grounded.

Legendary High School Coach Shot

"Ed Thomas, who has produced four NFL linemen as the football coach at tiny Aplington-Parkersburg High, was shot and killed Wednesday inside the school's weight room, authorities said. The gunman, identified by authorities as 24-year-old Mark Becker, shot Thomas at about 8 a.m. local time. About 50 students were in the school, including several in the weight room, at the time. School was not in session, and no one else was injured in the attack. Becker, a former student and football player at the school, has been charged with first-degree murder, authorities said (ESPN)."

We still don't have word on why Becker shot Thomas, but it is a sad for for Iowa. I have been doing some reading about Thomas, and it sounds like he was a hell of a guy. He won the 2005 NFL High School Football Coach of the Year, and coached four current NFL players; Casey Wiegmann of the Denver Broncos; Jared DeVries of the Detroit Lions; Brad Meester of the Jacksonville Jaguars; and Aaron Kampman of the Green Bay Packers. Thomas compiled a career record of 292-84 in 37 seasons as a head coach. It is sad to see a former player comeback and end this guys life. He shot him right in front of a bunch of kids lifting....We wish Thomas' family the best...

Arizona Man Sang Eminem Songs While Stabbing Family

This story is just fucked up...

Miller told detectives he visualized his wife, Andreana Miller, as a demon, according to the station. He said just before stabbing her at 4 a.m., he sang lyrics to an Eminem song, saying, “Here comes Satan, I’m the anti-Christ, I’m going to kill you.”

Miller told police that when his children woke up to their mother’s screams, he stabbed them, too. He added that he stabbed his son the most because he loved him the most, MyFOXPhoenix reported.

Miller calmly called the 911 dispatcher and told them he killed his family. The dispatcher asked him, “Are you sure you’re not dreaming Michael?”

“I’m positive,” he replied.

Police say the 29-year-old stabbed his wife and 10-year-old daughter to death. His 4-year-old son Brian survived being stabbed 11 times.

Brian is recovering in the hospital and being looked after by family members (FoxNews).


This story is so fucked. This better not turn into something like Eminem's songs make people do stuff like this, because this guy is just fucked. He stabbed his son the most, because he loved him the most...WOW. Well this guy will be spending the rest of his life behind bars, but what happens to the kid that survived? Any chance of his having a normal life went out the fucking window. This guy is just a sick fuck, and what scares me is he looks so normal.....

Listen, Murder Isn't Funny. But....

Kent State University professor Gertrude "Trudy" Steuernagel died last night in an Akron Hospital of injuries she received in a beating in her home last week.

Her 18-year-old autistic son, Sky Walker, is being held in the Portage County Jail under $2 million bond on a charge of attempted murder of his mother and a separate charge of felonious assault on a police officer. The Portage County Sheriff's office said Walker attacked a deputy when police found him in the basement of the Steuernagel home Jan. 29.

Come on America. Give this kid a break. If not for him being autistic, but for his name being Sky Walker. If I grew up with that stupid fucking name I would be pissed as well.

Eddy Curry's Life Sucks

"An attorney for New York Knicks player Eddy Curry says a woman found slain in Chicago is Curry's former girlfriend and the mother of his 3-year-old son (FoxNews)."

Tragic story, but has anyone else noticed the black cloud over Curry's life? A week or two ago it was reported that Curry was sexually harassing his male driver. That is on top of the fact that he basically doesn't play anymore, and I think he is on his way out of the NBA.

If the black cloud wasn't bad enough...How messed up is this kid going to be? His Dad may or may not be a gay guy, that sexually harasses his male employees, and is the laughing stock on the NBA, and his mom is dead. Damn kid, you have been given a terrible hand to play with. Got to feel bad for the kid...

Man Parades Streets With Decapitated Head

"Police detained a man accused of chopping off the head of a tenant in his apartment Thursday and then parading with it in the streets of Bangladesh's capital shouting, "I've killed my wife," officials said (FoxNews)."

In no way am I supporting the killing of another person (unless it's Tony Romo), but if you are going to do it, do everyone a favor and do it this way. There will be no way this guy will get away with it, and for him to do something like this it makes us say "damn...she must have really done something wrong" (at least for me). Also, there is no real trial for something like this. No, "the glove doesn't fit you must acquit", just "damn your a sick bastard, and you're going away forever". So, random Bangladesh man, you're a sick fuck, but at least you got me thinking of what she did.
