UNC May Be In A Bit Of Trouble Next Year

Not only did UNC lose Ed Davis to the NBA draft and Deon Thompson to graduation, but the Wear Twins are transferring and that does not bode well for Roy Williams and the Tar Heels.

Travis and David Wear, the highly touted, highly recruited McDonald's All-American twins, are going back to the west coast it looks like. The brothers each averaged 10 or more minutes per game as freshmen at Chapel Hill. Travis, who is 6-foot-10 and 235 pounds, averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. David, who is 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds, contributed 2.9 points and 1.7 rebounds a game. This leaves a lot of players on UNC under 6-4. After a 20-17 season last year, don't expect UNC to finish close to that this year.

HAHAHA

Boston College running back Josh Haden and quarterback Justin Tuggle are transferring, according to a release issued by the school today. Herald

The only thing is that Josh Haden got this gem tattooed on his chest. That was a pretty wise investment, wouldn't you say? Fuck B.C.

Dominique Davis To Transfer Out Of BC

"Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis has decided to transfer after he was suspended by the university for academic reasons, the school announced Tuesday (ESPN)."

With Davis now leaving BC does not have a QB that has thrown a single pass in college. Justin Tuggle (redshirt freshman) and Codi Boek (junior) who transferred last year from American River Junior College after starting his career in 2006 at Idaho State, were competing with Davis for the starting job this spring. Now it looks like BC be starting a kid who played fullback last year (Boek). There is somewhat of a chance that true freshman Michael Marscovetra might take over, but at this point we all know BC will suck next yeat, and it might be a good idea to give this kid a year to develop by redshirting him.
