DC's PSA About Guns
Dueling Couches would like to take a second and talk about gun safety. After watching Plaxico Burress shoot himself and now this story...
"Police say a man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at a Lynnwood department store. Police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions says the man was carrying his handgun in his waistband and it accidentally went off about noon Sunday. She says he was wounded in the testicles and also in his leg and foot. No one else was hurt (mynorthwest.com)."
People, I know in the movies people have guns in their waistband, and it looks cool, but waitbands are just not really a good place to have a gun. It's unstable, so if you're going to do it at least have it in the back, because getting shot in the dick is just weak...

Beltre Back on DL With Bruised Testicle
"Beltre was put on the 15-day disabled list with a severely bruised testicle Thursday, one day after taking a hard one-hopper off the bat of Chicago's Alexei Ramirez to his groin area in the ninth inning. Beltre remained in the game and singled in the 14th inning, scoring the winning run in a 1-0 Seattle victory. Seattle manager Don Wakamatsu said the Gold Glove infielder is out indefinitely, and could need surgery because of bleeding in a testicle (Sportsline)."
I never want to say that some deserves a bruised testicle, but Beltre kinda does. How do you not wear a cup when you play 3rd base? I mean come one man I learned that in little league and I hated playing with a cup. Anyways, this sucks for him and that has to be the worst pain ever.
Side note: funniest part of this article has to be...
"Beltre was walking stiffly with his legs far apart on Thursday before the Mariners hosted the New York Yankees."
