Just Another Fucking Moron: The Anthony McCoy Story

Well, we have another guy going for the title of "stupidest asshole in the world". USC tight end Anthony McCoy tested positive for marijuana at the scouting combine. How fucking stupid can one person be? He knew when the combine was. He knew they would test, and yet still he decided to smoke weed before it. Why even risk it? It's totally not worth it, and now instead of being a 2nd round pick he will most likely be a 3rd or 4th rounder (maybe even lower), and probably cost himself a shit load of cash too.

If you are that big of a shithead I wouldn't want you on my team, because most likely you are fucking stupid enough to do it again.

Rangers' Manager Ron Washington Tests Positive For Cocaine

Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington apologized today for using cocaine and testing positive during the 2009 season. He went on to say that this is the first time he had ever tired again, which obviously I'm calling bullshit on, because people who are 57 years don't up and decide to try cocaine.

He reported that he would fail the test before he even took the test, which was good, but he should still be suspended for a couple games (at least). Coaches should have to adhere to the same rules as the players.

Its really not a great idea to be blowing lines with guys like Hamilton on your team. You are just asking for clubhouse trouble.

Mayweather Blasts Pacquiao

"Floyd Mayweather Jr. blamed Manny Pacquiao for the collapse of their prospective bout Thursday, claiming the Filipino boxer refuses to accept a reasonable compromise on drug testing concerns. Mayweather also says he's still ready to sign a deal for the fight, which was slated for March 13 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas before Pacquiao promoter Top Rank declared it dead Wednesday night.

"In my opinion it is Manny Pacquiao and his team who are denying the people a chance to see the biggest fight ever," Mayweather said. "I know the people will see through their smokes screens and lies. I am ready to fight and sign the contract. Manny needs to stop making his excuses, step up and fight (CBSSports)."

I am not watching a single boxing event until these guys fight. I said it yesterday, and I'll say it again, boxing always finds a way to shoot itself in the foot, and this just proves that. I am on Mayweather's side here, since he isn't fighting about, but rather that this is a fair fight. I know the testing is a little much compared to what the Nevada Boxing Commission does, but I really don't care. Just get it gone, and get in the ring!!!!!!!!

Manny Pacquiao Just Another Steroid User?

"The Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather welterweight title megafight, tentatively scheduled for March 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, is in jeopardy. According to Golden Boy Promotions, which is representing Mayweather, Pacquiao refused Tuesday to agree to the Olympic-style drug testing procedures the sides had been negotiating.

Mayweather requested that the drug testing for the fight be in compliance with the United States Anti Doping Agency, which handles drug testing for Olympians, "to ensure fair play and sportsmanship by both fighters."

Floyd Mayweather Sr., the fighter's father, has repeatedly accused Pacquiao of taking illegal substances, even though Pacquiao denies it and he has never failed a drug test. According to Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, who is negotiating the deal with Top Rank president Todd duBoef, Pacquiao refuses to have his blood drawn within 30 days of the bout based on his superstition of testing so close to a fight.

"Todd told me that Pacquiao has difficulty with taking blood and doesn't want to do it so close to the fight," Schaefer said. "He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight."

Told of Pacquiao's reluctance to be tested, Mayweather said he should explain himself.

"I understand Pacquiao not liking having his blood taken because, frankly, I don't know anyone who really does," Mayweather said in a statement. "But in a fight of this magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level. I have already agreed to the testing and it is a shame that he is not willing to do the same. It leaves me with great doubt as to the level of fairness I would be facing in the ring that night.

"I hope that this is either some miscommunication or that Manny will change his mind and step up and allow these tests, which were good enough for all these other great athletes, to be performed by USADA (ESPN)."

I honestly can't believe this story. Pacquiao was becoming a hero of mine, and if he won this fight he would go down as the best pound for pound fighter of all time, but you don't refuse this kind of drug testing unless you got something to hide. I hope it is just a "miscommunication", but I doubt it. I was going to root for Pacquiao in this fight, but now I hope Mayweather whoops the shit out of him. I'll lose all respect for Pacquiao if he is a steroid user, or refuses tests further...

What a blow it for be for the Philippines (and Mexico). There isn't really a lot of Filipino heroes, and if Pacquiao ends up being just another fraud it would be heart breaking for the entire area.

Rashard Lewis Suspended 10 Games

"Orlando Magic forward Rashard Lewis tested positive for an elevated testosterone level and was suspended Thursday for 10 games. Lewis said in a statement that he took an over-the-counter supplement late last season that included a substance he did not realize was banned by the NBA. "First and foremost I take full responsibility for the situation and accept the corresponding penalty," Lewis said. "I apologize to Magic fans, my teammates and this organization for not doing the research that should come with good judgment." He will be suspended without pay for the first 10 regular-season games for which he is eligible and physically able to play. He will be docked about $1.6 million of his $18 million salary for the 2009-10 season (ESPN)."

Who knows if he is lying and just took something that he didn't know was against the rules. Everyone says it, so you really just never know, but I don't feel bad at all for this guy. They have hotlines, and everything else, so that you can ask about a product if you are not sure. So, it is his own fault for taking this shit, and he deserves to be suspended.

NASCARS' Mayfield Tests Positive For Meth....Again

"Jeremy Mayfield tested positive again for methamphetamine, NASCAR said, igniting another round of denials from the driver, who angrily accused the sanctioning body of paying his stepmother to lie about his alleged past drug use. The positive result from a July 6 random test was included in a U.S. District Court filing Wednesday that asked the federal judge who lifted Mayfield's drug suspension to reinstate the ban. The filing included an affidavit from Mayfield's stepmother, Lisa, who said she witnessed the driver using methamphetamine at least 30 times over seven years (Sportsline)."

If this is all true this guy should never race again. Going 200 MPH inches away from other cars is tough enough you really don't need to add Meth to the mix. Racing is a very dangerous "sport" and there is 0 room drug addicts. I mean this guy was caught once already. You would think he would stop...

Percy Harvin Fails Drug Test

"Wide receivers Percy Harvin and Brandon Tate tested positive for marijuana during February's NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, two sources told FOXSports.com. The news could be potentially damaging to the wide receivers' stock during this weekend's NFL draft (ESPN)."

How fucking stupid do you have to be to smoke weed coming up to the draft? Harvin was going to be a first round pick, but now we knocked right out of the first round. Tate was a later round pick, but still these guys just cost themselves a lot of money, and for what? To get high for a night? Think of all the weed you could buy if they just could have held off a little longer. Anyways, I don't want to go on too much of a rant, because it seems like the positive drug test for Raji was fake, and I guess you just never know where these reports come from, but this is definitely something to keep an eye on with the draft approaching this weekend.

B.J. Raji Fails Drug Test

"Former Boston College lineman B.J. Raji, who is considered the top defensive tackle eligible for this month's NFL draft, reportedly failed a drug test at the NFL combine (Sportsline)."

There is no player that has been climbing draft boards as much as Raji. Well you can probably kiss that goodbye, as a lot of teams are not going to pay top dollar to a draft pick that is failing drug test already. Don't think for a second that this was some kind of "misunderstanding". He failed a drug test while at BC for marijuana, and he also missed the 2007 college season with academic problems, so basically he is a fuck up. It is really too bad, this kid just cost himself a bunch of money, and now may have dropped himself out of the top 15.
