Albert Hayensworth In Trouble

Albert Haynesworth could be jailed for six months and fined $1,000 if convicted for sexual assault to a waitress. Apparently he fondled her breasts at a restaurant and thats a big no no apparently.

Hayensworth is not a good person. He has a lot of baggage surrounding him and has been a major headache to not only the Redskins but society. If I were the Redskins the 1st thing I would do would be cut this bum when they are allowed to. He obviously doesn't care about anything other than money, Redskins should rid themselves of this headache.

Breaking News: Redskins Suspend Haynesworth

"The Washington Redskins have suspended Albert Haynesworth without pay for the team's next four games for "conduct detrimental to the club," the team said Tuesday (ESPN)."

I really can't believe they didn't just cut him, but I guess that could have to do with his contract. Maybe it is a lot cheaper to do it in the offseason. Either way, Haynesworth deserves this. There are reports that he showed up to a practice hungover. He has denied them, but either way he even admitted he had a terrible practice and followed it up by being late and then going home early the next day. This guy has been acting like a piece of shit all year, and it's really just another case of the Redskins dishing out money without doing their homework.

Haynesworth To Be Cut?

Here we go again....

There are rumors that the Redskins are finally going to cut ties with Albert Hanyesnworth after he was benched last Sunday after missing practice. At this point I think they should. They aren't going to make the playoffs, and this can't be helping any of the locker room problems. One would think that if a playoff team had a system that fit Haynesworth that he would be one hell of a pickup, but then again he could be a player that cashed in and just doesn't give a fuck anymore.

The Redskins are going to need to start from scratch next year. I think McNabb will be cut, and I assume Portis and Haynesworth will be gone too.

Haynesworth To Titans?

The Redskins have had enough and are once again shopping Haynesworth. The Titans are rumored to be interested. At first I didn't really buy the report, but...

I am not going to comment any time some rumor comes up," Reinfeldt (Titans GM) said, per the Tennessean. "If I comment on this, I comment on every one of these that comes up."

Not really denying it huh? Anyways, it makes sense, since Haynesworth was awesome for the Titans, yet I still think the Titans are going to be very hesitant of this deal, because of the size of Haynesworth contract. Basically he should never have been paid that much, and now it could be the reason he will be tough to trade.

Haynesworth Skips Conditioning Test Again

"For the third straight day, Albert Haynesworth will not be attempting the conditioning test that coach Mike Shanahan is requiring he pass before joining the rest of the team in practice. Meanwhile, reporters have taken to attempting the conditioning test that is proving so tough for Haynesworth to pass. So far, they're a collective 1-for-2 (ESPN)."

So now he has failed it a couple times, and skipped it 3 times. It seems like this could be payback for Shanahan making an example out of him. This situation just keeps getting worse. The worst part is both the team and Haynesworth need each other. No one is going to trade for Haynesworth with the way he has been acting, and the Redskins will be in some trouble if this guy isn't a part of their defense.

I really don't know how this is going to play out, but something tells me Haynesworth isn't exactly upset that he isn't part of camp yet.

Mike Shanahan Hazing Albert Haynesworth?

The Haynesworth situation in Washington took another ugly turn, as Haynesworth has failed his conditioning test. Yet, many reports are coming out that the "test" was complete unfair.

One report says that Mike Shanahan made Haynesworth run 3 100 yard dashes, which is 1 more then anyone else on the team had to do. There is another report that says that during his conditioning test Haynesworth had to take a piss and Shanahan made him start all over from the beginning, and then he failed. Either way, it doesn't sound like it was the fairest test.

Did Haynesworth deserve this? Absolutely, and part of me thinks it is awesome that Shanahan did this, but on the other hand how does this help him? Now Haynesworth is going to miss practices until he can pass, which means he will be behind everyone else learning this new defensive system.

Listen, I hate Haynesworth, but if you are going to go this far why not just cut/trade him? Plus, why the fuck does Haynesworth ever have to run 300 yards? Honestly, his job it to take up blockers and space (especially in a 3-4). I just think that Shanahan is just making a bad situation even worse (yet, I guess I have to respect it).

This could get ugly for Shanahan, because some people are starting to call this hazing, so I wouldn't be surprised if the NFLPA is all over this.

I Guess Albert Haynesworth Is Still A Dick

I still don't exactly know what is going on with this whole Redskins, Hayensworth battle going on but it seems if Albert is acting a bit childish. He is saying that the Redskins aren't using him like they said they were when they gave him the most amount of money a DT has ever got, and now he is sitting out until he gets his own way. This is really the first time I have heard of a situation like this. He has got his money, he just doesn't like the coaching.

His teammates have already come out and said, he's acting like a little cunt, so I don't think we will be seeing Albert in a stupid, drunk, Indian Uniform oh sorry I meant Redskins uniform. Either, way he sounds like Raider material to me.

Albert Haynesworth Is A Big Pile Of Shit

Albert Haynesworth is staying away from the Redskins training camp, because he is not happy with the new defensive scheme, and is demanding a trade. Listen you piece of shit, you are one of the highest paid players in the game. You get paid to be fat and take up space, and yet you have the balls to question a team that gave you one of the most over-the-top contracts I have ever seen in the NFL.

Now his teammates are calling him out. Well good, he is a piece of shit, they should just get rid of him for whatever they can get, and fine him until they find a place to deal him. At least we know even with all his money he probably won't live past 50.

Here is the quick list of teams ESPN has that should be interested in Haynesworth...

Tennessee Titans
Detroit Lions
Minnesota Vikings
Oakland Raiders

Please don't go to the Vikings.

Redskins In Trouble For Tampering

"The Tennessee Titans have asked the NFL to consider tampering charges against the Washington Redskins in the signing of free agent defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the situation (ESPN)."

The Redskins could actually be in a little bit of trouble here. According to the report I read the Titans provided the league with newspaper articles and audio from a Washington radio station. We don't what what these articles tell us, but basically it will be that the Redskins broke the rules by contacting Haynesworth before the free agency period had begun. Not really sure what the league would do if this was true, but the Redskins really do not need any distraction going into this season.

My prediction is we will never hear about this story again, and it will be business as usual for both teams.

Haynesworth In Trouble

"Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has been indicted on two misdemeanor traffic charges in Tennessee after an accident that seriously injured another driver. District Attorney Kim Helper says Haynesworth faces charges of reckless driving and having expired registration. Haynesworth, a former Titan who signed with the Redskins last month, was released after surrendering Wednesday. Maximum punishment is six months in jail and a $500 fine on the reckless driving charge and 30 days and a $50 fine for the other charge. The charges come from a Dec. 13 incident in which police say Haynesworth was trying to pass another driver, who crashed into a concrete median (ESPN)."

Redskins have to be kinda pissed about this. I mean they just forked over a shit load of money to this guy, and he is already in trouble. I actually wonder if they knew about this before they signed him. Anyways, he'll most likely will just have to pay a fine for this, and lose his license for awhile. I doubt the NFL will step in here, so there should be no real impact on his playing status.

Hayensworth Gets Paid

Albert Haynesworth hit the free agent jackpot Friday morning by reaching a seven-year, $100 million deal with the Washington Redskins that could end up maxing out at at $115 million based on his performance, according to sources.

The deal, which was reached early Friday morning, includes $41 million in guarantees. During the first 13 months of the contract, Haynesworth will earn approximately $32 million.

Holy shit. I knew Hayensworth was the cream of the crop when it came to free agents this year, but I didn't know he would get this big of a deal. Hayensworth is a hell of a player and he can move a line and is also quick. He is a game changer and the Redskins defense just improved a lot. My only concern would be if Hayensworth is a guy who gets his contract then gets fat and happy. If Hayensworth doesn't lose his fire this signing will be amazing, however if he gets content now that he got paid, it will go down as another Redskins failure signing.

also, DeAngelo Hall accepted a six-year $54 million deal that included $22.5 million in guarantees, giving the 25-year-old cornerback his second big payday in as many years. Hall was guaranteed around $24 million in a seven-year, $70 million contract he signed a year ago with Oakland, but he struggled to adjust to the Raiders' man-to-man defense and was waived after eight games.

This move is a great move if Hall regains form, but as he proved last year he is a contract player. He will play a lot better when he is going into contract year rather than playing hard all the time. This was a big loss for the Patriots who were rumored to be intrigued by Hall.

Haynesworth To Test Market

"Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth has decided to test the free-agent market, according to various media reports. The NFL Network first reported that the two-time All Pro will become a free agent after weeks of discussions between his agent, Chad Speck, and the Titans. Free agency begins at 12:01 a.m. Feb. 27 (Sportsline)."

The Titans will not, and can not give up on this guy, but he is going to get paid top dollar, and they are going to have a lot of stiff competition. There are so many teams in the NFL that need a All-Pro defensive tackle to anchor their defense. Look for teams like the Packers to really push hard for this guy, and it is really going to come down to how much the Titans want to invest in this guy. Haynesworth is known throughout the league as one of the best defensive linemen in the game (if not the best). Look for him to get paid as such.

Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch Out Until Playoffs

Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch are out until the playoffs, coach Jeff Fisher said at his Monday news conference. ESPN

This is huge news figuring they are battling Pittsburgh next week for the number 1 seed and home field through out. The Titans formula is very simple and the most effective in the NFL, play defense and have a good running game. Any team who runs that formula effectively will always win. Losing Vanden Bosch and Haynesworth destroy the defensive line and will make things a lot easier for opposing teams. I think the Titans will lose next week with a direct correlation to these injuries.
