Andrew Luck Is A Big Stupid Doo Doo Head

Stanford Red Shirt sophomore Andrew Luck has decided to go back to Stanford instead of being the consensus number 1 pick in the NFL Draft. Idiot.

What are the benefits of staying in college.... Nothing. And fuck you Captain before you write a shit comment like get a degree because thats a load of nonsense. He can always get a degree or honorary degree, but he might not always be the number 1 pick in the draft.

The risk heavily outweighs the reward in this situation. Sure he might be scared of the new CBA, or may not want to go to the Panthers or whatever reason however, if he blows out a knee, shoulder or anything else he can say bye bye to the first round or the NFL for that matter. I'm sure he will take out a huge insurance policy on himself, but still architecture isn't that big of a deal Andrew.

We saw this same situation last year when Jake Locker went back to Washington and now his draft stock has dropped significantly.

So today I can say that I'm slightly smarter then someone who went to Stanford.

Carolina Has To Take Luck

There are a lot of articles going around today stating that the Panthers may take a pass on Andrew Luck as the #1 pick in the draft. To me they don't have a choice they HAVE to take him. Clausen is fucking terrible. If you have ever sat down and watched this kid, there isn't much upside. He looks like the game is way to fast for him, doesn't read the defense well, and really hasn't shown me anything to think that will change. Luck on the other hand is the real deal. This kid is going to be a Pro Bowler, and in the NFL now it is all about having an elite QB.

Things can change fast for a franchise. Look at the Rams they just drafted Bradford, and there is a good change they are in the playoffs, and it's not like they have a lot else around him. It will be a busy offseason since the Panthers need to trade Steve Smith, probably one of their RBs, and sign a new head coach. All of that will be for nothing though if they don't draft Andrew Luck.
