Carlos Boozer Signs With Bulls

Carlos Boozer agreed to a 5 year deal with the Chicago Bulls, but it doesn't seem to be enough to get Lebron. Still, I really like how this Bulls team is coming together. Boozer's signing gives the Bulls a formidable pair in the frontcourt with Joakim Noah, not to mention a good pick-and-roll partner for All-Star point guard Derrick Rose. Also, Boozer gives the Bulls more of an offensive big man then a guy like Noah can be.

Now the Bulls with look for a shooter. If the Bulls don't get James, they could go after someone like Kyle Korver or Mike Miller. They were looking into Ray Allen before he decided to come back to Boston. If they can sign a good outside shooter this team could have enough to win their division (especially if Lebron leaves the Cavs).

Talk About an Awful night

So let's see how Carlos Boozer's night.

1. His team got swept by the Lakers.
2. He fouled out of his potentially last game in a Jazz uniform.
3. The Lakers bus hit his escalade on the way out.

Talk about a big fuck you.

I have nothing else to say, but it's good to see that even a millionaires life sucks from time to time.

Boozer and Odom To Miami

The Heat are working furiously to deliver Lamar Odom and Carlos Boozer and to the shores of Biscayne Bay. The Heat are trying to sell Odom on a five-year, $34 million contract at the mid-level exception, and a league executive with knowledge of the talks says Miami has also hatched a three-way proposal with the Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies to secure Boozer. More

This would be a ridiculous move for Miami and make them an instant contender. With a core of Wade, Beasley, Boozer and Odom, how could they not be a top 6 team in the East. With the arms race going on in the East, I wouldn't be shocked if this happens by the end of next week.

Boozer To Chicago?

Another major multi-team trade might be looming in the NBA with the Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls having discussed a deal that would be headlined by Carlos Boozer and Kirk Hinrich, according to NBA front-office sources.

Sources stressed to ESPN.com that no deal was imminent Thursday and that both Portland and Utah are still evaluating additional trade scenarios. But two sources with knowledge of the three-team proposal confirmed that there have been substantive talks aimed at landing Boozer in Chicago, Hinrich in Portland and Tyrus Thomas in Utah.

This is a really good deal for Chicago if Boozer can stay healthy. Because Derrick Rose is obviously the real deal and was able to almost take the Celtics without a legit big man. However, Boozer has had a hard time staying healthy. Hinrich to Portland is a good fit, because they don't have a real PG, and Thomas to Utah is whatever. Tyrus Thomas sucks, and has been a complete bust.
