The Ball Hawking safety was a keep contributor to the Saints success last year, seemingly picking off a ball every game and returning half for touchdowns. He's beloved by the city and is just a great football player. What was delaying him returning is that he had micro fracture surgery on his knee which is much more sever then the arthroscopic surgery in which most thought he had. That could take a little bit of time for him to get back on the field.
