Dwayne Bowe Suspended For Steroids

Well we don't know it's steroids, but....

"Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating its policy on performance-enhancing substances. Bowe's suspension will begin immediately, the team said Tuesday, adding it would not comment further (ESPN)."

Bowe has a ton of talent, but he is on a terrible team, so he has been a bit of a disappointment this season. This suspension really don't matter, because the Chiefs season is over, but hopefully he doesn't become the next David Boston....

Dwayne Bowe To Ravens?

"According to the Baltimore Sun, there has been speculation that the Ravens would send a second- and fifth-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. Bowe has caught at least 70 passes in his first two seasons and has scored 15 career touchdowns (Sportsline)."

This would be interesting. I don't know why the Chiefs would do this deal, but it would be a steal for the Ravens. You add a WR like that and Flacco's life becomes a lot easier. Flacco is already having a hell of a season and the Ravens could be a top 5 team in the NFL if they added a talent like Bowe (though I question their defense).

Dwayne Bowe On Trading Block?

"In spite of two touchdown catches in as many games this season, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe might be on the trading block. While the team might not actively pursue a trade involving their best receiver, NFL Insider Adam Schefter reiterates today that any Chief not named Tyson Jackson or Matt Cassel can be had for the right price (EPSN)."

I don't see Bowe going anywhere. He has to be a key to rebuilding this team, and with them already losing Tony Gonzalez in the offseason Cassel is going to need someone to throw to. If for some reason he was to hit the market look for a team like the Jets to make a serious run at him.
