Reason 7093 To Never Go To Jackson (Pearl) Mississippi

Yesterday I checked into the Comfort Inn in Pearl Mississippi which is right next to Jackson (the Capitol). The hotel was OK and everything seemed to be normal until night hit. My Uncle, Gill and I went to a restaurant only to find out that they didn't serve beer and alcohol in this city. WTF. I can't even get into the city I am trying to move into because it may get destroyed and they are going to deny me a beer at dinner. Fuck That.

Then I thought. You know whose fault this is? Yup, you got it. The big guy, GOD.

After Michael Moore's comments yesterday this was my final straw with the big guy.

We did drive 15 minutes down the rode and found a Mexican restaurant that served beer and it was delicious and cold on my tongue.

Michael Moore Needs To Shut Up

Michael Moore publicly came out and said that Hurricane Gustav is “proof that there is a God in heaven,” since the storm approaching the Gulf Coast could disrupt next week’s Republican National Convention. Listen, Moore has done a lot of good things in his life (Sicko, ect), but saying that people losing their homes, and an entire city being destroyed just to slow down the Republican party is nuts. If God did that then he's a douche, but that is just not the case. Instead this is just another case of a damn liberal making people from liberal states look just as crazy as the bible belt. If God wants to show proof that he exists then he should have lightning strike Michael Moore tonight. Good luck to the city of New Orleans.

DP Moving to New Orleans...Oh No!!!

One of the co-founders (DP) of Dueling Couches has moved from Rhode Island to New Orleans. He left yesterday and is making his way down there, but the funny thing is...so is Hurricane Gustav. Gustav is supposed to go over Cuba tonight, and then make its may to New Orleans, by the time it gets there it will be a category 3 hurricane, and the news is saying that this levees once again are going to let go. Perfect time for DP to head on down there. But the real reason I put this post up is so that I could get people's opinion on where DP should move if N.O. doesn't exist anymore...
