Saturday Back With Colts

The three-time Pro Bowl center who was expected to be one of the top centers on the free-agent market suddenly changed plans Thursday, signing a three-year deal that will likely allow the 33-year-old to finish his career with the team that brought him into the league. ESPN

It's bitter sweet for me, because part of me was hoping he was going to come to the Steelers, and the other part is glad he is back with the Colts so I can continue to hate him. Saturday and the Colts are a perfect match and if they let him go, it would have been terrible for a usually stable offensive line. Either way Saturday is going to finish his career in Indy and Manning will continue to have ridiculous protection.

Saturday To Steelers?

This would be a bittersweet feeling for me. I think Saturday is a must need guy for them, but he was part of the faggy Colt team. One issue is that the Steelers already have a center, Justin Hartwig, who is entering the final season of his contract and started every contest for the Steelers this past season. Not to worry, says Cindrich, as Saturday is willing to slide over to guard, a position where the Steelers could be short given the uncertain future of Chris Kemoeatu. Either way, they have to do this, especially if he will move tot he guard spot.
