Steelers News: Don't Call It A Comeback

Dick LeBeau comes back and LaMarr Woodley gets tagged.

Dick LeBeau said Tuesday he will be back for a 10th season as the Pittsburgh Steelers' defensive coordinator. There were rumors that he would retire or go to the Cardinals after this season, but all mean nothing as the 73 year old signed a one year deal. LeBeau is the best defensive coach in the NFL, I'm not just talking about defensive coordinators I'm talking about all coaches in the league. He consistently has the Steelers in the top 5, and even if pieces leave he still is able to find someone to fill in the role and be a great player. I'm glad he's back because when the Steelers go back to the Superbowl this year it will be a good way to end his career.

Also the Steelers are about to franchise LaMarr Woodley which is great because he is one of the best outside LBs in the league. He is unbelievable and is a sack master on the end which causes constant pressure. He will also be a key piece in their superbowl run this year especially if it comes to getting in certain QBs who get shook by being put to the ground a couple times.

Steelers Not Extending Lamarr Woodley

Wow, it's weird writing a football post. But with all the great news that is coming out of Pittsburgh another nugget just came and shitted on my soul. The Steelers are not going to extend Lamarr Woodley. What the fuck! This guy has been holding down our defense for a couple years now, and made us completely forget about Joey Porter. He is 25 and in his two years of playing outside linebacker for the Steelers he has accumulated 25 sacks. He's one of the best young LBs and the league and is ONLY making 500 K this year. I think if anyone deserves a raise it's this guy.

Pittsburgh better win the Superbowl this year because it'll be difficult to do it without him.
