Will Knicks Draft Curry to Lure LeBron?

"The Knicks covet LeBron James -- they desperately want to sign him when he becomes a free agent next season. LeBron James is a huge Stephen Curry fan. In fact, they are good friends. And, to complete the love triangle, the Knicks want Stephen Curry in the 2009 NBA Draft. They have the eighth pick in the draft, and Curry is projected to go in the lottery (ESPN)."

To be honest I don't think the Knicks are going to need to do much to lure Lebron. He seems to have a hard-on for NY, and obviously the Knicks will play him top dollar. I have already come out and said that I don't think Curry is going to do that much as a pro, but if he is on a team with Lebron anything can happen. Sorry Cleveland, but I can almost guarantee that the Lebron show will be moving to New York...

Stephen Curry Will Enter Draft

"Just a few hours after DraftExpress.com's Jonathan Givony reported that Stephen Curry -- a likely lottery pick -- will soon announce his decision to enter the NBA Draft, Davidson coach Bob McKillop, perhaps in response, told the Associated Press that his star guard is still undecided. So that's where we're at right now. Givony says Curry will be in (Sportsline)."

He had a great college career. Personally I would have liked to see him get his team back into the tourney, but whatever. Some people think he will be a lottery pick. The kid can score, but he is so small i really don't see him as anything more then a bench player. We will soon find out.

At best I could see him being very much like Ben Gordon...

AP All-America First Team Announced

Today the Associated Press released their annual All-America team. Oklahoma's Blake Griffin was the only unanimous selection this year, which is no surprise to anyone who watched a lick of college basketball this season. UNC senior, Tyler Hansbrough made the first team All-America squad for his second straight year. Without further a due, the rest of the All-America team.

Stephen Curry (Davidson)- 28.6 ppg, 5.6 apg

Dejuan Blair (Pittsburgh)- 15.6 ppg, 12.2 rpg

James Harden (Arizona State)- 20.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg

Blake Griffin (Oklahoma)- 21 ppg, 14.3 rpg

Tyler Hansbrough (North Carolina)- 20.9 ppg, 8.1 rpg

So I leave it to you, fans of the couch, who will be the best NBA player out of this squad of college juggernauts?

Is Stephen Curry's College Career Over?

After Davidson's loss to St. Mary's yesterday in the NIT, we have to wonder. Is Stephen Curry's college career over. He has been one of the most exciting college players ever, and has been a one man band for the Davidson Wildcats. The baby faced assassin should move on to the NBA due to a lack of high profile players and he will probably be a top ten player in this years draft. I'm not really sure how to translate his game into the NBA, part of me wants to just say he is going to be JJ Reddick like and be a bust, but part of me could see him like a Reggie Miller/ Rip Hamilton player.
