Well it looks like the Celtics road back to the NBA Finals just got a little tougher...

If the Magic can resign Turkoglu (who opted out of his contract today) then they are going to be filthy next season. Just look at their starting lineup...

Wow.

There are some concerns that Carter will ruin their chemistry, but I really think he is going to excel on this team. He is back home, and he wants to make his name relevant again. If they can stay healthy this team is flat out terrifying.

NBA Trade Deadline News

- Chris Mihm was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies for a conditional second-round draft pick in 2013. This move saves the Lakers $2.5 million in luxury taxes.

- The Knicks have come out and stated that David Lee will not be traded.

- Vince Carter is still in all kinds of rumors, but the 2 most likely destinations are either Houston or San Antonio. I can't see fitting in with the Spurs, but the Rockets may try to make a move for him since they just lost McGrady for the year.

- The Celtics are really hoping for Joe Smith to be bought out by the Thunder, so they can sign him. He could be this years P.J. Brown.

- Baron Davis is not going anywhere.

- The only other team that could be making moves are the Mavs. They are very quiet, but they tend to like to make a splash near the trade deadline.
