Al Davis Is Fucking Nuts

"All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha re-signed with the Oakland Raiders on Thursday, agreeing to a three-year, $45.3 million contract that gives him the highest salary in NFL history for a defensive back. Asomugha is guaranteed $28.5 million in the first two years of the contract. The Raiders have an option for a third year in 2011, which would be worth either $16.8 million or the amount of the quarterback franchise tag, whichever is greater (Sportsline)."

Asomugha is a hell of a CB, but you can't spend this kind of money on one player, especially a guy who is a DB. He has been a shut down corner and people try not to throw to that side of the field, but he only has 1 INT last year. Listen even when "Prime-Time" Sanders was at his best and people wouldn't throw to his side he was always able to get a couple more INTs. I like the signed, but the money is getting out of control, and reports are that Davis was heavily involved in these discussions. I don't know about you, but I bet this guy blows out his knee or something. Everything Davis touches goes to shit.

Al Davis Going After Patriots

Well it seems Al Davis wants to pick as many fights as he can right now. He is now saying that the Patriots tampered with Randy Moss before trading for him. Listen Mr. Davis, you are old and you need to crawl into some hole in the ground and died. The Patriots didn't make you trade one of the best WRs of all time for a 4th round pick. Even if there was this mysterious workout, shouldn't you know if your players can run or not? Don't be sour because you can't keep a coach, and you have made as many bad picks as the Lions. Do yourself a favor and sell the team or something, and if you not going to do that at least focus your efforts on fixing your dismal franchise.

I don't believe Al Davis tells the truth at all. Lane Kiffin I still believe is a good coach, but Al Davis is an evil man.

Lane Kiffin Is Gonzo

Lane Kiffin is probably happy that he is getting fired. Especially since every single week he has to go through all this all Al Davis shit. Kiffin probably will have no problem getting a new job due to him being on the shittiest team in the world. I like Kiffin he just loved being a thorn in Davis' side. This summer Davis to him to resign he said No. Davis wanted to fire him last week and the Raiders won so he couldn't. Good for him.

Al Davis Talks Walker Out Of Retiring?

According to ESPN "Oakland Raiders receiver Javon Walker, struggling with his performance during training camp, told the team Thursday he intended to retire and offered to return his $11 million signing bonus. According to a source, Raiders owner Al Davis persuaded Walker to remain with the team".

This story is very interesting. First, because Walker was actually willing to just give back his signing bonus. How many athletes do you know that would do that willingly? Second, is the fact that Al Davis talked him out of it. This was a terrible signing, and Walker just seems to have a dark cloud over him (he was kidnapped and beat up earlier in the summer). On top of that he is struggling in camp. His knee is just not the same, and I really don't see him helping this team very much. Al Davis had a chance to get his contract off the books, but instead he gets him to come back. For Walker sake I hope he can get it together, but I don't see that happening, and Al Davis will be wishing he let him retire.
