Listen, I'm not going to get all political here, but this pissed me off...
"Administrators at a California high school sent five students home on Wednesday after they refused to remove their American Flag T-shirts and bandannas -- garments the school officials deemed "incendiary" on Cinco de Mayo.
The five teens were sitting at a table outside Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., on Wednesday morning when Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked two of them to remove their American flag bandannas, the Morgan Hill Times reported. The boys told the newspaper they complied, but were asked to accompany Rodriguez to the Principal's office.
The five students -- Daniel Galli, Austin Carvalho, Matt Dariano, Dominic Maciel and Clayton Howard -- were then told they must turn their T-shirts inside-out or be sent home, though it would not be considered a suspension (FoxNews)."
I am not going to get into the whole illegal immigrant argument right now (but I am totally for cracking down on it), but stories like this do piss me off. I am not a big flag waver or anything, but you should be able to wear a shirt with an American flag on it anytime you want (and for that matter any flag). You in in America, not Mexico, that isn't our holiday it's Mexico's. So fuck you Mexico, there is no Mexico day in this country, sorry. You really want to support do it like any kind of religious holiday....at home (or in the correct country), but don't for a second to think it's alright to dictate policy for a holiday that has nothing to do with the country you are in. If I was living in Germany, I would not expect everyone in Germany to put all their patriotic stuff away on July 4th. It's just fucking ridiculous.
I am all for making them take off the bandannas though, those aren't good for anyone.

How creepy is that guy?
