Is Dirk Going To Opt Out?

I ultimately thing Dirk will stay and not opt out because I don't know if he can get 21.5 million dollars in a contract again. I think he will get 15ish in a long time deal. Dirk is a premier player but his team tends to disappear in the playoffs, I don't know what the issue is, but you have to figure it has to be his fault somewhat. If he chooses to leave Dallas, free agency will get a lot more interesting.

USA 106 Germany 57

Another joke of a game as the "Redeem Team" rolled over Germany 106-57. Dirk Nowitzki is the star of this team, but the Americans were just way to much. Germany looked like it was going to contend when it blew out Angola 95-66, since then they have dropped 4 straight. Dwight Howard scored 22 points and LeBron James had 18, as USA cruised. USA seems to fast for any team to be able to stop them. The difference between this team and the team in 2004 is that this team actually plays defense. USA is now 5-0 in these Olympics.

Nowitzki Out Indefinitely

ESPN reports, Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki is out indefinitley with a high ankle sprain and mild knee sprain. With the Mav's in a very close play-off race this is obviously a huge blow for them. With a thin front court already, I would say the Mav's are doomed.
