Maybe Knicks Avoid The Isiah Storm

Knick fans are pissing their pants that Isiah Thomas might just walk though that door once again. Well, today comes word that the Pistons have him on their short list of candidates for the heading coaching vacancy. The others on the list are Mike Woodson, Kelvin Sampson and Bill Laimbeer.

Why anyone would hire this ass clown is beyond me. He had his chance in the NBA and failed so awesomely that people kind of forget what kind of player he was. The Pistons were a mess last year, and the last thing they need is this jackass walking into the locker room.

Knicks Smarter Than They Look?

"Knicks president Donnie Walsh is close to signing a contract extension with the team and has been told that owner James Dolan won't bring back Isiah Thomas in any capacity, reports Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Berman writes: "Walsh is expected to be granted permission to hire his successor as a central part of a new agreement that should be formally announced shortly. ... Dolan has remained friendly with Thomas but no longer trusts him to the point of giving him another basketball job (ESPN)."

Thank fucking Christ!!!! This story has perplexed me from the very beginning. This would be like the Celtics firing Doc Rivers and giving Rick Pitino another shot (maybe even worse). So rest easy Knick fans, it looks like the black cloud that is Isiah Thomas (and his life) are not going to be hovering over MSG anytime soon.

There are rumors that Allan Houston could be the next guy that comes in and tries to run the Knicks. I always like him, so I'm glad he gets a shot.

Good God Isiah Just Go Away

Isiah Thomas just refuses to stop torturing the Knicks, not that I feel bad for them, since they bring a lot of it on themselves, but check out these quotes from a recent interview with Isiah...

"I want to be on the float and I want to get my ring," Thomas said.

When asked if he'd like to succeed Knicks president Donnie Walsh, Thomas said, "Every single day of the week.

"When I look at my GM/executive record, if I'm evaluated on that, then whoever's after Donnie, if you're not talking about some of the top people in the game, I'll put my draft evaluation record up against anyone's."

Thomas also believes he could have convinced LeBron James to sign with the Knicks, instead of the Heat, if he was part of the clubs front office.

"I have to believe that," Thomas said, "because that was my plan. So I stick to it (ESPN)."

Wow, just wow. So Isiah are we not going to even bring up that you were the worst GM maybe of all time? How about all those ridiculous contracts that you gave out? Or the fact that you blamed your own daughter when you overdosed and had to be taken to the hospital? Yea, that's the guy I want running my franchise.

As for getting LeBron to come to NY, listen I hate LeBron, but I don't think he is dumb enough to take advice from this shit bum. Why would you want to follow a guy who ruined a franchise for years? LeBron wants fame and a ring, not a sinking franchise and failing con artist.

Knicks in you have any sense at all you should never speak to this man again, and I wish only the worst for Isiah.

NBA Block Isiah Thomas To Knicks?

It hasn't happened but the NBA is investigating Isiah Thomas' role with the Knicks while he is still the coach of Florida International University.

The NBA, which started an investigation of the arrangement Monday, prohibits people who coach or work for a team at the collegiate level, or work for an international team, and who have regular contact with underclassmen or other draft-ineligible players, from also working for one of the league's 30 teams.

Just based on principle the NBA should block Isiah Thomas to have anything to do the the league because he is an awful, awful man. He was an awful coach for the Pacers, and was the worse thing that ever happened to the Knicks. He also sexually harassed a lady and through his daughter under the bus when he OD'd.

Why the Knicks even want this guy is confusing too. I know he drafted David Lee, Nate Robinson but he also drafted Ranaldo Balkman, Signed Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis and Eddy Curry. He set that team back to the stone ages.

Also, from an NBA standpoint, it is absurd for Isiah to be coaching a college team and have a hand in a NBA team. It has to against some rule, and if I ran FIU I wouldn't want one of my employees to be distracted with another job, and probably fire that person.

Knicks Leave Me Speechless

The Knicks lost out on Lebron, but that is not what I'm talking about. It is HOW they lost out on Lebron that gives me somewhere between a headache and amusement...

If you are a Knicks fan, I hope you going fucking off the wall about this (or at least your bathroom looks like the pic above). You are trying to lure the biggest free agent of the year (maybe of all-time), and you final pitch is to send a guy who is the worst GM in NBA history. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

Not only is he a terrible GM/coach, but he is also a terrible person. Smart move. Maybe their plan was to lure him in by showing them someone who is actually a worse person then Lebron.

Magic Throws Isiah Thomas Under The Bus

"Isiah killed his own chances when it came to the Olympics," Magic Johnson said in the book, an advance copy of which was obtained by The AP. "Nobody on that team wanted to play with him. ... I'm sad for Isiah. He has alienated so many people in his life, and he still doesn't get it. He doesn't understand why he wasn't chosen for that Olympic team and that's really too bad. You should be aware when you've ticked off more than half of the NBA." Those are some pretty harsh and hysterical words from Magic Johnson's book. I hate Isiah Thomas, he's one of the biggest scumbags in the world, and so glad he isn't affiliated with any NBA team now. I can't really talk about how he was when he played because I wasn't alive (If anyone has any good Isiah stories put them in the comment section) but I'm sure he was a scumbag then too. Isiah's response was that of a beaten man's response; "I'm just disappointed and hurt," Thomas told The Associated Press on Thursday night before a promotional event for his men's basketball team at FIU. "I never thought it was him who kept me off the Olympic team. That hurt." And I couldn't be happier that he is hurt.

Isiah Thomas Alreay Causing A Ruckus

Florida International will pull out of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament unless tournament organizers allow FIU to open with Ohio State instead of North Carolina, as the Golden Panthers had expected.

FIU officials were equal parts incensed and stunned when they received an e-mailed press release of the Tar Heels' schedule, listing Florida International as the season opener. Athletic director Pete Garcia said the school had been approached by the Gazelle Group, the tourney organizers, about switching its opener from the Buckeyes to the defending national champions but refused. Listen Isiah, regardless if you play UNC or Ohio State you are going to lose and pulling out of a tournament called Coaches vs. Cancer is also a terrible idea.

Isiah Thomas at this point is a small fish in a big pond when it comes to college basketball. he is known for destroying franchises and being an all around terrible person. He has absolutely no leverage when it comes to this demand. I hope the NCAA laughs about it, and just tells Isiah to shut it.

Florida International is trying to hire former New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas as its next basketball coach, sources have told ESPN.com's Andy Katz.

A source with direct knowledge of the negotiations told ESPN.com on Monday night that the two parties are working on a deal and it could get done as early as Tuesday. Thomas just has to sign off on the final details.

Don't know much about Florida International, don't care to know either. All I know is that if you want the most evil man in the history of the world (yes, that includes Hitler), then Isiah is a good hire. he will do nothing but run the program in the ground for years, molest female students and OD on some medicine and blame a sociology professor. Good job FIU.

You OD on sleeping pills, say it was your daughter who ODed, the cops said no way they would mistake a 47 year old man for a 17 year old woman and you are sticking by the story?

This guy is a bigger snake then I thought. I hated the man as a Coach, GM and especially as a player (highlights) and now I have a reason to hate him as a person. I don't respect this man at all and neither should anyone.A person who decided to throw his 17 year old daughter under the bus rather than fessing up to his own actions is a snake. He could have said he did it by accident, but I guess blaming it on your daughter is a lot more honorable.

Nobody Likes a Quitter Isiah

Reports are surfacing that Isiah Thomas has come to the realization that after doing nothing right since his playing days (literally, I don't think the guy has had a successful day since he was a Piston) life just ain't worth living.

Ok, maybe that's not exactly what these reports are saying but why let facts get in the way of a good story? Where is the fun in that? Anyhow, police allegedly responded to Thomas' home shortly after 12:00 Am this morning after it had been reported that Zeke had washed a few too many Ambien's down with his nightly magnum of Yellow Tail.

This is where DP steps in: I am not one to laugh about other people's misfortune but.... HA. This in my eye's is better that Terrell Owens trying to kill himself. I hate Isiah Thomas he was a shitty coach, a shitty GM, and a shitty person. He completely destroyed the New York Knicks franchise until 2093. He failed bringing the Knicks to glory and he failed at killing himself and failed to inbound the ball that Bird stole and then passed it in to DJ. Story of his life.

Madison Square Garden refused to comment other than to say Isiah is fine and the Police Chief would only acknowledge they were at Thomas' home. On the police call, a dispatcher mentioned a 46-year-old male. Thomas is 47.
