Wade Phillips Fired? (UPDATED)

It's not if, just when, and so far he is not at the Cowboys facility....

As of 9 a.m. CT on Monday, Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips was not seen at Valley Ranch.

His leased SUV which is parked outside the scouting department's office was not there, but that doesn't mean the coach was fired. Phillips is taking heat following a 45-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night which has put his team's losing streak at five games (ESPN).

ESPN goes on to say that Jones usually meets with Phillips on Monday morning to go over film, but as of yet it doesn't seem like it has happened. After last night it seems to be they have to fire him now. Yes, the season is already lost and it really doesn't matter, but this team has quit on him, and Jones needs to do anything to shake up this team. The Cowboys are supposed to be a prideful, and i just don't see Jones sitting back and letting them just tank the season. We will keep you posted, but I would be surprised if Phillips is still the coach by next weekend.

Phillips has been seen, so maybe he will make it through today, even though I think he should be gone after that sorry display last night.

Sean Payton is Kind of Awesome

Recently, Jerry Jones, owner of the Cowboys called a restaurant in Indy days in advance to reserve a bottle of his favorite wine, Caymus Special Selection. Sean Payton, the coach of the Super Bowl-winning Saints, was at the restaurant the night before and asked for Jones' bottle of wine. The staff gave it to him and Payton left Jones a note: "WHO DAT! World Champions XLIV Sean Payton."

If anyone doesn't think this is awesome, they aren't human. Talk about a slap in the face. Jerry Jones must have felt 2 inches tall for a moment, and then probably jumped into a pool of money.

PacMan Back To Cowboys?

"Is there going to be an Adam "Pacman" Jones sequel in Dallas? According to a published report, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently said he's considering bringing the controversial cornerback back, although he calls it a long shot. Reached by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram after the George Strait concert than opened the new Cowboys stadium on Saturday night, Jones asked the reporter: "Would you beat me up too bad if I brought back Adam (ESPN)?"

I hate the Cowboys, so I really hope they do bring him back. It is actually a fucking joke that PacMan is even allowed in the NFL at this point. The guy is out of control, and way to obsessed with being a thug to take advantage of all the talent he has. Anyways, I don't even think PacMan is worth a roster spot. He can't cover anyone anymore, and his only real asset is as a return man...
