Sean Payton is Kind of Awesome

Recently, Jerry Jones, owner of the Cowboys called a restaurant in Indy days in advance to reserve a bottle of his favorite wine, Caymus Special Selection. Sean Payton, the coach of the Super Bowl-winning Saints, was at the restaurant the night before and asked for Jones' bottle of wine. The staff gave it to him and Payton left Jones a note: "WHO DAT! World Champions XLIV Sean Payton."

If anyone doesn't think this is awesome, they aren't human. Talk about a slap in the face. Jerry Jones must have felt 2 inches tall for a moment, and then probably jumped into a pool of money.

Sean Payton Is The Next Tarintino

The movie, currently titled “The Xbox Kid,” is about a boy from a poor family in New Orleans who starts controlling the outcome of NFL games through a refurbished Xbox given to him by his grandfather following a devastating hurricane.

“I just wrote about four pages, piddling around with it,” said Payton, who later turned the idea over to a professional screen writer to flesh it out (Times Picayune).

Well Sean. this is the worst idea ever for a movie. I mean my idea of a wrestler themed type movie involving the Sham Wow guy was better. Stick to coaching, and guess what. Run the ball this year or only throw to Devery Henderson every down.

Sean Payton To Meet With Vick?

"The Saints have announced that Head Coach Sean Payton has scheduled a flight to Virginia Friday to have a sit down with troubled NFL quarterback Michael Vick. Does this mean the Saints are interested in signing Vick after Goddell and the NFL reinstate him? It seems like it very well could be a possibility. Right now this is only speculation, but it seems the Saints could be interested in bringing Vick in to play a multipurpose role like Reggie Bush splitting time at RB, WR, ST and serving as the teams emergency QB. This will make for an interesting off-season in the NFC South (Tom Deshay)."

I have to caution that this is only speculation at this point, but if this is true it is kind of interesting. The Saints have a crazy offense, and Vick would give them just one more option. Still, I think this would be stupid for the Saints. Anything that Vick could give to this offense they are already getting from Reggie Bush. I do think this would be a good city for Vick to play for. Something tells me that the city of New Orleans really wouldn't care about what he has done. Anyways, I think you will hear a lot more rumors about teams going to meet Vick. How many of these rumors are true is the real question.
