A legend was made Saturday night and that man is Rajon Rondo. On a dirty play, but a play I'm fine with Dwayne Wade took down Rondo, and when Rondo was trying to brace himself his elbow bent the other way. The Celtic Nation sighed a collective, "Fuck", it was a gruesome injury, an injury that for sure wasn't going to only take Rondo out for the game but for the rest of the playoffs. This happened in the 3rd quarter with about 7 minutes left. Then in the 4th quarter Willis Reed esk, Rajon came out of the locker room.
We already had the lead when he returned, but he gave the Celtics an emotional lift to push it to 16.
But enough of Rondo, KG is the real story of this game, he went into a time machine and did 2 things, he had absurd numbers with 28 points and 18 rebounds, and he made people forget that Chris Bosh even existed, including Chris Bosh. Chris had 6 points, 5 rebounds on 1-6 shooting.
Jeff Green had a hell of a game, his stats aren't that great 6pts, 2rbs, 1stl, 1blk, but he played unbelievable defense. He was all over the place, and hustled his tail off.
It was a great game.
