Another must win game for the Celtics, because lets be honest the Celtics most likely are not going to win 3 in a row when 2 of the games are being played in Miami. Last game the Celtics came out and played the way I thought they'd play from the beginnings. Garnett took control of the game, Pierce played tough defense on Lebron, and Bosh and Lebron showed their true colors.
Mike Gorman was on WEEI today, and he said he thinks the Heat are emotionally exhausted. Maybe he is right. Bosh making comments that the crowd got to him. Lebron muttering "retarded" under his breathe, and the lack of fight at the end of that game. We have seen Lebron disappear before, maybe we will see it again.
We know Wade is going to show up. There is no doubt in my eyes there, but if Pierce comes out and plays like he did last game, and Garnett dominates Bosh I think the Celtics can win this, even with a one armed Rondo.
Would like to see Boston jump on them early, because I don't think the Heat are very mentally tough, and like I said before we have seen Lebron mail it in before. I expect another huge game from Garnett. That will be enough, and the Celtics run away with this and even the series.
Celtics wins 98-88
Player of the Game: Garnett
Game starts at 7pm
