With the 22nd Pick In The NFL Draft The Indianapolis Colts Select....

DP's Pick:
Nate Solder, OT, Colorado

I'm not going to sit here and act like I thought of this pick. Todd McShay has this pick and it makes the most sense. If the Colts want to keep succeeding you want to protect the person that gives them the best chance... Peyton Manning. He's 6-8, 319 and with the Colts O-Line getting a little older it never hurts to get younger on the blind side.

BMack's Pick:
Tyron Smith, OT, USC

Smith should never have fallen this far, but if he does what a steal for the Colts. He is a guy who can step up immediatley, and the Colts really need to revamp their offensive line. DP is 100% right, if the Colts are going to do anything for years to come they need to keep the pressure off Manning. Smith is a little raw, but has the highest ceiling of maybe any offensive lineman in the draft.

With The 1st Pick In the 2011 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers Select.....

DP's Pick:

MARCELL DAREUS DT Alabama

This might be a bit of a homer pick because I love the Tide, but I recently have fallen in love with this kid. He's a big mama jama at 319 and has been really successful in a 3-4 and 4-3 schemes at DT. With his quickness he could also be shifted to DE with a 3-4 scheme. The new trend is the Panthers taking Blaine Gabbert here and I just think that would be dumb because they have to give Jimmy Clausen at least another year (even though I'm not a fan). If worse comes to worse he'll tank it and they pick up Andrew Luck or Matt Barkley.

BMack's Pick:

Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri

Let me start by saying that I hate this pick. I agree with DP that Clausen should at least get another year before they just give up on him (and I also agree that I am no longer a believer). Yet, with a new coach the Panthers are going to look for a new "face of the franchise". Sure, this guy isn't a big name, but he will be by the time the draft comes around. ESPN always hypes all these guys, so by then he'll be the "next big thing".

Gabbert has the build of an NFL QB at 6'4" 234 lbs. He is a very accurate QB, although some of his stats don't show it. Scouts point out he didn't have a lot to work with at Missouri. He's got a great arm, and can move around the packet enough to avoid sacks. I'll say I don't like this pick, and if we were just making a list of the best guys in the draft I would probably have him at 5 or 6, but like I said before the Panthers are looking to completely rebuild and a new coach with want "his guy" under center, and that guy will be Blaine Gabbert.

Celtics 112 Heat 106 (OT)

One of the best Celtics games I have ever seen. The Heat had tied the game with 5.6 seconds left. My think was "well at least the Celtics can lose in regulation", boy was I wrong as Wade continued his unbelievable game, stealing the call from Ray Allen, and laying it up to put the Heat up 2 with .6 secounds left.

DP and I were sitting on the couch yelling at the TV when Doc drew up a play that started with Pierce inbounding the ball. Why wouuld you take you best clutch shooter and have him inbound? DP kept screaming about it, until Pierce threw a perfect alley oop to Rondo to send the game into OT. Yes, it was an amazing play, but what blew me away was the lack of effort by the Heat. The guy covering the inbound pass didn't even have his hands up, which let Pierce do an easy chest pass. Then there was basically no big man underneath to guard under the hoop, which just seemed retarded to me.

DP starts:
If you break down the play:
You can see two people on Miami made critical mistakes. First is Quentin Richardson who seemed to care less about distracting Pierce. My crazy theory is that it was his arrogance because him and Pierce have this ongoing rivalry (even though it's pretty one sided) The second player is Jermaine O'Neal who for some reason after seeing Glen Davis pick Chalmers rushed out of the lane. If he had just stayed in the lane Rondo wouldn't have been able to get to the basket so easily. It's pretty common knowledge on a last second shot you don't try and fight through picks you just automatically switch.

But whatever people have brain farts, and it was pretty costly because the Celtics dominated in overtime. Rondo outscored the Heat 6-5 and the Celtics outscored them 11-5. The Celtics were so sloppy they had 24 turnovers, and let up 17 offensive rebounds. It was a hell off game and a great win.

Proof That The Loch Ness Monster Exists

"This amazing image on Google Earth could be the elusive proof that the Loch Ness Monster exists. Sun reader Jason Cooke spotted "Nessie" while browsing the Web site's satellite photos. The shape seen on the surface of the 22-mile Scottish loch is 65ft long and appears to have an oval body, a tail and four legs or flippers. Some experts believe Nessie may be a Plesiosaur, an extinct marine reptile with a shape like the Google image.

"This is really intriguing. It needs further study," said researcher Adrian Shine, of the Loch Ness Project. Sightings have been claimed for centuries. To see the object, enter co-ordinates Latitude 57°12'52.13"N, Longitude 4°34'14.16"W in Google Earth (FoxNews)."

It is about damn time if you ask me. As long as Zombies aren't real I am cool with the rest of this stuff...

Bruins 2 Kings 3 (OT)

The Bruins blew another fucking game. They were up 2-0 going into the 2nd peroid, but once again they could not figure out how to play a whole game. Kings scored 2 in the third, then capped off the comeback victory when Brown scored with 35 seconds left in overtime and the Kings beat the Boston Bruins 3-2.

It is so fucking aggravating that the Bruins play so well for 2 periods every game. I don't know if they get tired, or just lose focus, but they have to find a way to finish these games. The Devils and the Capitals are right behind the Bruins, and if they are not careful they will fall to the 3rd spot in the Eastern Conference.

I don't want to talk anymore about this game.

Strip Club to Host Job Fair

"Here's a job opportunity you won't need to buy a new wardrobe for. Hoping to take advantage of Rhode Island's floundering economy, owners of the Foxy Lady strip club in Providence plan to hold a job fair on Saturday. They say they're looking to fill around 30 positions, from strippers and waitresses to disc jockeys and bartenders, at that club and two others in Massachusetts. "I need more managers, I need more competent staff, and I need more attractive waitresses to go along with the ones I have right now," said co-owner Tom Tsoumas. The naked truth is that Rhode Island's economy is among the worst in the nation, with an unemployment rate of 10.3 percent in January (Yahoo.com)."

Rhode Island sucks, but at least the Foxy is stepping up. I wonder how many people will actually show up? I would like to see if the number of strippers in this country go up because of the economy, or does it go down because people don't have the money to waste on a lap dance. Either way, Mo Vaughn will be first in line for this job.
