Guess Krstic Is Not Coming Back

Nenad Krstic has signed a two-year contract with Russian power CSKA Moscow. Krstic played in Russia between NBA stops in New Jersey and Oklahoma City, but this is still shocking. The Celtics were said to have interest in bringing him back, and to be honest I was kind of a fan of that. Furthermore I would think there would be at least a handful of team that would've been interested in Krstic. Russia must have just been offering a lot more money, or maybe he could've been worried about the (what seems to be the inevitable) lockout.

With Krstic gone the Celtics have lost Shaq, most likely Baby, and Krstic making me think even more that they are going to need to go out and find more big men either through the draft or free agency.

Goodbye Krstic, I will miss you and your awkward combover.

Celtics Injury Updates

The Celtics are still battling a lot of injuries and are running out of time before the playoffs start. One would think they would want to get everyone back for at least a couple games to get comfortable and set rotations, so here is a look at where they all are.

Shaq - Everyone thought he was done when he had to leave the game last night, but apparently it is just a calf strain and he could even play next game (Tuesday against Philadelphia). Shaq in my eyes is the key to the Celtics playoff run. That is a scary thought, but they need his big body under the hoop, so lets cross out fingers he will be ok.

Nenad Krstic - When Krstic went down I thought he tore his ACL, but his MRI came back negative, and has even been able to practice. That was good enough for Doc to say that he expects him to be back Tuesday. Krstic has regressed since a strong opening for the Celtics, but he does have some offensive tools and can eat up some minutes as well.

Troy Murphy - Although I wish he was dead on the side of the road somewhere, it sounds like he could be back in the next week or so. Murphy has been a complete bust, and I doubt we will see him much at all in the playoffs, especially if we have a full healthy roster.

Am I The Only One Disgusted By Krstic's Hair?

I want to start by saying that I am sorry I can't get a better picture, but if you watch the Celtics you know what I am talking about (or after reading this you will next game). I like Nenad Krstic, he plays with a ton of energy and is really the first Celtic in like 3 years that goes after offensive boards, but every time they zoom up on him on TV it makes me think maybe abortions really aren't all bad.

Seriously, why is hair black on the sides then brown on top? He has this weird thing going on where it's like an extreme comb over, but it's not a normal one where you go from side to side, it's from back to front. I don't care if you're going bald, it happens to all of us, but fucking get over it and shave it. That odd brown skunk thing he has going on is just too much for me. Honestly, it distracts me from the game. Here is the normal set of events when I watch him play.

"Damn, nice play Krstic, geez Dave they got a steal in this trade."

Then Comcast does a zoom up...

"Oh what the fuck!!! Dude, seriously do something about that. Hasn't someone said something to him about it? How does that happen? Why is it a different color? Dave, what the fuck? I want Perk back, I can't deal with this. Who does comb overs anymore??? Honestly, fucking shave it Krstic..."

That goes on for a good 5-10 mins, in which I usually miss a good portion of the game. So, for the love of God Krstic please shave that awfulness on top of your head, or at least make it so it's all the same color, so you don't look like some weird Chernobyl victim.

Also, there should be an "i" between the "r" and "s" in your name. Kristic looks and makes more sense. "Krst" is just many consonants in a row, and is fucking stupid.

I may have had too much coffee this morning.
